This is a US made PEC precision 2 piece 6" combination squares. These squares are made in the USA by Products Engineering Corporation (PEC Tools) a premier US tool manufacturer. They have hardened and tempered satin chrome finished steel blades with .5 mm and mm markings on both sides of the blade. The blades are .720" wide by .075" thick. The head is .9/16" thick, 2 1/2" wide and 3 1/4" tall. Square comes with a hardened scribe and have a bubble level integrated into the head. The entire square weighs in at 7 ounces and fits nicely in the hand and in an apron pocket. The fit and finish on these squares is superb. The angular accuracy is guaranteed to be +/- .001 inches over the entire length of the blade (that's one thousandth of an inch over the 6" blade).
