I tried all 4 versions and compared them
Harney & Sons has 4 versions of the Hot Cinnamon Spice Loose Leaf Tea, so I bought all 4 for a side by side comparison. I hate having all of these options, but not knowing which one to get. I prefer no caffeine, but don't want to sacrifice flavor for it. Herbal is the ideal option for me, but again I don't want to sacrifice flavor... so I tried all side by side under the same conditions. I made all 4 teas hot, only water and tea (no sweetener needed with any of these). All of these teas are noticeably sweet tasting, however no sweeteners are listed on the label. Red Hots candy is a good description of the flavor. I used the same amounts of tea and water for all varieties. The herbal was my favorite with decaf and black tea following closely behind. All three of these had a strong cinnamon profile that I like (I like my tea strong). The green tea, had less flavor, it tasted more like green tea and less like cinnamon. There is a strong cinnamon aroma in all of them, but was less noticeable in the green tea version. Here is the ranking from best to worst in flavor: 1). Herbal Hot Cinnamon Spice - Lots of flavor and no caffeine means I can have this tea anytime of day. There isn't much difference between the flavor for the top 3.. only the green tea version fell behind the pack. This will be the only version I order in the future. Being able to skip caffeine and getting the fullest flavor, makes this the winner. 2). Decaf Hot Cinnamon Spice - a very close 2nd place. It's hard to tell the flavor difference between the Decaf and non decaf, it's also close to the Herbal. The Herbal has a bit fuller flavor, but not much difference. 3). Hot Cinnamon Spice - I don't think I would know it if you switched this with decaf. Since the flavor is close for both, then I would prefer decaf. 4). Green Hot Cinnamon Spice - If you like green tea, you'll probably like this one. The problem is it has noticeably less cinnamon aroma and flavor as the other options. I don't recommend this one, unless you really love green tea and want some cinnamon flavor. It's overall still a quality tea, but doesn't hold up to the others.

Delicious cinnamon tea
I love cinnamon tea, but I don't love caffeine. This tea is delicious and both smells and tastes wonderful. I have had some trouble dialing in the strength for brewing, but you can just adjust to your taste. I have a tea strainer with very fine holes, so I didn't experience any debris, but I definitely had some cinnamon powder at the bottom of the mug at the end.

Not as fresh as ordering from Harney and Sons
I love this tea. I drink it nearly everyday. The flavor is amazing. I normally order it directly from the Harney and Sons site but I ordered this out of convenience. It was not the same quality or freshness I get from the site. I won’t be ordering this from Amazon again. I gave it two stars because it was drinkable but not as enjoyable.

Loose leaf is wonderful for brewing
This is the best tea for the money. I was irritated that I subscribed to the loose leaf and the second shipment was tea bags. But the tea is delicious and my whole family is addicted. Hopefully they won’t make the same mistake twice because I want the loose leaf so we can brew pots full.

Best Cinnamon Based Tea
When David's Tea does what they always do and discontinues your favorite tea, sometimes you get lucky and find a BETTER replacement! The Hot Cinnamon Spice is beyond my favorite spicy tea! You cannot go wrong if you like cinnamon based teas!

Great Spiced Black Tea… Getting Expensive
I love this tea! Something about that slight burn of cinnamon works for me. I just opened what is probably my fifth bag and it had a much more red color and more fine particulates. I think I got that bottom of the cinnamon bag. Fortunately, the taste was on par. My only gripe is that the price has gone up my about 80%. Hard to complain… bought egg’s lately (+500%)!?!
