Bought this to sharpen my Axe and kitchen knives. The product did come a little damaged, it did have a few chips on the sides where the box on the outside looked damaged from shipping. It worked very well it grinded the chips out of my Axe, and it sharpened my knives very well. All in all I recommend this product for the quality and price.

This is easy to use. It makes my knives much sharper. The problem is the number on the stone is wrong. It should be reverse. The white one is for polishing. The blue one is more coarse. You should start with the blue side, the the white side. This is due to bad quality control. But the stone is good

Gets Blade very sharp and soft to the touch

I purchased this after watching Frank Protos culinary YouTube video. Frank demoed how he uses this stone to sharpen his knives. So, I ordered it and have use the stone once to sharpen three of my knives. It works great!!!

What do I know about sharpening knives? Not much. Nothing I had used had ever worked.But I accidentally stumbled on a youtube video showing a whetstone, and I thought it looked like something I could handle.There were a number of similar products but this had just what I was looking for - 2 grits, a base and an angle guide, and the price was right.As soon as I got it, I tried it with several knives, and they are noticeably sharper. The instructions could be better, but that is not a big deal, since there are a lot of videos that can give you some tips.This is a nice value and easy to get the hang of.
