Man! What a beautiful knife! The makers did not skimp when making this gorgeous knife and sheathe. The only gripe I have is that the strap that holds the knife in place is not tight enough to keep the knife from falling out if you were to tip the sheathe upside down or at a downward angle. I will be adding another button snap to get that nice and secure because this is not a knife you are going to want to lose. The sheathe is beautiful and well made. The knife will definitely become my go to when messing around in the woods. The knife came soaked in oil which is great, but make sure you wipe it off the handle before swinging it around. I am very impressed that I was able to get this quality of knife and sheathe for the price. You could easily spend the same amount just buying either the knife or sheathe at the quality that you are receiving. I have no regrets making this purchase and will most definitely be buying this again once I get the funds. I almost want to buy a few extra to lock away to give to my kids when they come of age.

This knife came sharp and oiled. The leather sheath is a perfect fit and comes with a sharpening stone. The sheath is a dark brown and has that bushcraft feel.The knife looks incredible and best of all... it has some weight and will hold up in any situation. This knife will be on me every adventure! This will NOT be my last order from GCS Custom Knives.I am recommending this knife to everyone. Good job GCS Custom Knives!!!

Own 6-7 knives from this company. Like most, it's a good knife, but snaps on sheaths are weak.

Received in 2 days. Sheath is made of heavy leather but if you want to wear it vertically. the belt loop is too small for most belt widths.The knife came very sharp. I was surprised by that. Very weighty. Beautifully made.

The Knife is gorgeous with a wide full tang construction and micarta scales. the whetstone is of High quality unlike what ive gotten from knife makers in the past. all together a quality knife for less then 50$. They state its an ambidextrous sheath but mine is left handed scout carry and i needed a right handed one. Doesn't bother me I have no issues wearing the blade upside down to carry it on the correct side. Will order more in the future to get a right handed one so i can complete my cosplay outfit with proper double scout carry knives. The leather is showing signs that its not good leather. And the sheath itself doesnt fit the knife proper as i hoped it would a bit of the pommel stands proud of the anchor and seems to be no where the fit it should be the sheaths mouth is taller by 2cm then the blade is and the with of the opening tells me something bigger and shorter was the original knife.

My wife bought this as a surprise for my birthday. She gave it to me early because she was excited. I have been a knife enthusiasts for as long as I can remember and own a good amount of knives. This knife from GCS customs knives is by far my favorite knife now. Absolutely amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail, not only on the knife itself but also the sheath is completely exquisite. I will be buying more knifes from them and I highly recommend GCS to anyone. These knives are made to last a lifetime. Thank you GCS Customs!!!

Listen to what others have said about this, I wish I would have. The sheath is garbage, there are two buttons that hold the knife in place in the sheath, the first doesn’t line up(too short) and the second is too lose some the knife will fall out. Also, this is not a right hand scout draw as advertised, it is either a right cross draw or left scout draw. I’m going to message the seller and ask for a refund. The knife itself is larger than expected but of good quality
