I've had this blender about 2 months now. When I removed the blender from the base, I noticed a rust colored liquid all over the base and on the bottom of the outside of the lid. I thought it was the smoothie leaking because it was chocolate flavor but come to find out, it was rust! When you wash it, Water gets in the cracks between the plastic and the blades and just sits inside the lid rusting whatever is inside. I did a test of putting plain water in the blender then blending it and the water turned light brown! Which means the rust is getting into the smoothie and we're drinking heavy metals! This is so dangerous and unhealthy! I would avoid this blender at all costs!!
