MSR HyperFlow Replacement Filter Cartridge

My MSR Hyperflow Microfilter has been getting progressively harder to filter water with. Then it just stopped filtering completely. I purchased this replacement cartridge and my water filter now works better than it ever has. It was also extremely easy to change out.

I love the size of the filter and the light weight. However the smaller size, seems to clog easier too. In the Windriver range in clear running streams, I manage only 20 liters before having the pump significantly slow, and maybe 40 liters before feeling like I need to replace the cartridge. And I am doing the prescribed back flush every 6-8 liters!

Have been using the original system for over 10yrs changing the filter regularly. Never been sick!!

light weight and compact. Always good to have a spare filter.

Just a replacement for my go to water filter. As for the filter system itself it works great at 3 liters per minute and I have never been sick from using it so I guess that says it is working as intended unless I have been lucky and haven't had contaminated water.

My husband says its his favorite filter. He's had many over the years and this by far is his favorite because its lightweight and pumps the water fast and can be backwashed if need be.

This thing has kept me hydrated in places all over the country! Love it.

My 1st filter cartridge lasted 4 years as I don't do too much hot weather camping.Also I was careful when using and try to avoid really dirty water by placement of the prefilter.Didn't know how clogged my old one was till I put in the new cartridge.Works great again,one of the best pump type filters on the market.

easy to fit to a wonderful piece of kit

Filter Looks ok but the package had already been opened and then scotch tape was over the original seal. Seems sketchy.That disappoints me.

Package was open, had scotch tape and actual filter was missing
