An old friend reissued on LP
Very nice to have this on LP again. The performance is magnificent, of course. However, the surfaces of the LP has plenty of pops and snaps. The sound is great, but certainly not superior to the SACD release from a few years back. Nevertheless, I have played it quite often since receiving it.The disc is a translucent yellow, not opaque as shown in the photo.

Music is excellent, quality of vinyl pressing extremely poor. Loud thumps and pops. DG ALWAYS had poor quality records even back in the 60's
