The Flower Garden Coloring Book (Dover Flower Coloring Books) Paperback – Coloring Book, August 23, 2005

I got 7 of these books and love coloring them. You can get really creative. I don't have an artist's talent, so I enjoy creating my own color combinations, although there are colored pictures of all of them on the covers so you can follow those or come up with your own. These aren't not kids coloring books! They are more detailed, and I use colored pencils on some, fine point gel pens on others and a wide range of felt tip colors on most. I usually do these in the evening when I need to wind down and they work wonders for me. Even without artistic talent, I love my renderings.

Like a stroll through a botanic garden or your backyard. Filled with lovely illustrations to fill the eye and heart! Ponds, succulents, garden veggies, containers and arrangements. Little creatures throughout. Flowers are named for identification. Always great prices with Dover. Two-sided non perforated pages. Use card stock behind page you're working on.

Some of the pics have too much detailing in the prints. It leaves no space for coloring when there's too many lines

I really enjoy coloring in my Flower Garden Coloring Book. I have a large flower garden and I can't wait to color the next flowers I want to purchase. The Coloring Book gives me ideas, it gives me therapy, and I am relaxed and ready to go again after my artwork! Thank you, Amazon!

I would like this book more if it had color templates for each page. It only has 2 ... so you're on your own. The pictures themselves are really pretty ... but there's no guide for what colors to use.

This book is fun to color with all the flowers and many of them to choose from. There are many flowers, background boards/walls/window/houses/fences, animals, flower pots, birds and other things to color as well as flowers. To give you an idea of the variety, there is a turtle, butterfly, baby fawn, vegetables, fences, rocks, a bunny, ponds, a spider web and a bouquet of flowers. See what I mean by variety?! It's an interesting book and very reasonably priced. It has it all.. I really like it and highly recommend it.

If you are an adult and like to color using pens, pastels or colored pencils and you like flowering gardens, this book is for you. I purchased it for my 79 year old mother who loves to color using my colored pencils. When she's not looking I'll sneak a picture out and do it in pen and ink and they look gorgeous!

There are pictures on both side of the pages. and the linnes are not distinct .pictures are nice but nnnnnnnnnnot fun to color
