I've seen some people disappointed about the gaming performance. This is a dual core APU with 2 virtual CPU cores and a very weak graphics processor. This is not for gaming unless it's retro or low graphics style games. Want to play the original Mario? You can do that. Want to play Halo Infinite? Not gonna happen. Having said all this, for my needs this thing is perfect. With coupon, paid less than $300 and came with better specs than most laptops in this price range. I got this to tinker with Linux. Windows 11 can eat dirt. I've tried Pop!, Mint, Fedora, Deepin, and Ubuntu. The best experience is Ubuntu with KDE desktop. Default Ubuntu was sluggish to the point of moving the mouse pointer stuttered. Switching to KDE desktop cleared all that up and is buttery smooth. The other distros were ok, but couldn't get certain apps to work/install. But that isn't the fault of the PC. Just pointing this out for those that might want to play with Linux. The hardware is good enough for general office use, coding, watching videos/movies, and also makes a great media server. The network chips are plenty fast enough, and the Bluetooth works well, albeit doesn't have the best range. But if you're in the same room you'll be fine. Also recognized my Xbox One controller no problem. This does have a 3 ring connector, like the Xbox Controller and Smartphone. So one jack for mic and stereo sound (hence 3 ring). So if you have a headset with built in mic, you'll be fine if you don't go Bluetooth. Overall I can't really complain. If I had to knock anything, I've seen mini-PCs that cost just a little bit more that have wifi-6 and Bluetooth 5 whereas this has wifi-5 and BT 4. Given this is an AMD APU, 2 sticks of RAM would have been better. Also, as far as I can tell, there's no way to up the wattage the system uses if you want to push it a bit more. The processor runs on the hot side at 60c. Not terrible, but not great. You can adjust the fan in the BIOS though. Other than those small gripes, I'm really enjoying this thing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a great desk saver PC for office, coding, media server, or just tinkering with Linux at a very reasonable price.

If I were to guess, these mini-PCs are just the guts out of a laptop, no screen, keyboard or case. Which was exactly what I was looking for, just the important stuff. My first concern (after being surprised at the size) was noise and heat. This is nearly silent and when left on for several days doesn’t even get warm. My confidence in its durability has gone way up. Kinda looks like a toy, but is a serious machine. My kid play all those teenager games I read about on HuffPo, and he reports that it performs like a champ! I bought it for him. I got one for music production and it’s works a little too we’ll. Scary little box. Highly recommended!

What else could you need? It’s not the fastest but far from slow, runs windows 11 very snappily. The WiFi is strong and there’s a wired Ethernet port too. I added a ssd to mine for more storage so it’s expandable. I wouldn’t hesitate if I found it on sale to buy another.

I often buy the SER3's and install TeamViewer to use them remotely. I work in smart home deployments where having a PC standing on-site connected to the network means the difference between a 15-minute troubleshooting or a 5-hour commute. The SER3 is fast out of the box and it comes with Windows. For automatic power-on after power loss programming you need to access the BIOS and follow the instructions EXACTLY as provided by Beelink. The latter has a website with all instructions, be sure to check them, because the SER3 does not power on automatically after power loss by default. For initial setup you will probably need a cheap wired USB keyboard and a TV or a monitor with HDMI. Once you have installed your remote desktop management software you can do everything from your main computer remotely. But there is one caveat: the PC does not emulate the screen unless an HDMI load is plugged to the HDMI output port. Therefore, you will need to plug into the PC a dummy HDMI load so that the PC thinks there is a screen and will emulate the screen, which in turn allows you to see the screen remotely. There are plenty of HDMI dummy dongles on Amazon. Enjoy!

I was gifted a huge flat screen from the company I work for, but it was a commercial retail display with no remote and no way to work the controls. It is a GORGEOUS display by Samsung with deep color and an almost invisible bezel, but it wasn't going to work as a television. So what I needed was something to stream off the internet and pull movies and music from my NAS. Beelink to the rescue! It streams Netflix and Hulu all day without a hitch. Very light weight, it just sits on my wall with some 3M Command strips and I have a Bluetooth keyboard with a trackpad to work it from the couch. What I got out of this was something better than a TV and for a lot less money.
