Great port, but a bit on the large side!
I recently incorporated the HDMI Keystone Jack with 8K 60Hz capabilities into my home entertainment setup. While there are several positive aspects to this product, there's also a noteworthy caveat regarding its size. Firstly, the plug mechanism of this jack is impressive in terms of durability. It feels strong and well-built, suggesting that it can withstand regular use without issues. This robustness is crucial for any component that's frequently connected and disconnected, as it ensures longevity and reliability. The picture quality remains uncompromised with this jack. (Not sure about of 8K at 60Hz, but there's no noticeable decrease in quality at 4k 120 hz). The visuals are as sharp and clear as they are when directly connected, which is a testament to the jack's capability to transmit high-resolution signals effectively. Additionally, the keystone clip mechanism is equally durable. It securely locks into place, providing a stable and reliable connection. This sturdiness is essential for maintaining a consistent and interruption-free viewing experience. However, the size of the jack poses a challenge. It's somewhat larger than expected, which made it difficult to fit two of these jacks side by side in a Leviton 6 port keystone plate. This could be a concern for those with limited space or who require multiple jacks in close proximity. In summary, the HDMI Keystone Jack with 8K 60Hz offers strong and durable mechanisms, ensuring both longevity and sustained picture quality. However, potential buyers should be aware of its larger size, particularly if planning to install multiple jacks in a confined space

Works Great 4k 60hz HDR
I've been using a number of these for months. I've seen no issues with 4k HDR at 60hz. I have these setup with one behind the TV and an HDMI cable in the wall that connects to another one of these below the TV. The HDMI then goes into my AVR. Using all HDMI 2.1 Certified CL3 rated HDMI cables from infinite cables for the connections. Each HDMI chain length totals to 12'. I wanted to address a few negatives I saw in other reviews that I don't think are the fault of these keystone jacks. 1. One reviewer suggested these only work when the front is the output. This has not been my experience. Each instance where I use these there are two involved and on one the front is the input while the other the front is the output. No problems here. 2. One reviewer suggested they don't work with CEC. That has not been my experience. I use CEC with these and I've seen no problem with CEC working. 3. One reviewer suggested they don't work with ARC. Again, I've seen no issue there. I use ARC without any problems. 4. One reviewer suggested they are too big to allow for a good fit in a standard wall size. I have 2/4 walls and while these are pretty large connectors I didn't have any trouble getting them to fit with the HDMI cable inside the wall. Yes there is some strain on the cable as it does touch the back wall but it is not what I would consider significant. In one location I even have these in a gang box which reduces the space at the back just a bit more and it's still what I would consider acceptable strain/bend on the HDMI cable. Your mileage may vary depending on the HDMI cable used. I have no complaints. If I notice any issues I'll be sure to update this review.

These work for 4k, others might not
Works for 4k where similar keystone pass through would not. Pleased to find an HDMI keystone that works for my application. I have some older HDMI pass throughs that worked for lower resolution and had to replace them with these.

Works like it should and keeps the setup clean
I bought the Cable Matters 2-pack 8K HDMI keystone jacks for a cleaner HDMI setup, and they work like they are supposed to. The installation was straightforward, and the fit was good for a keystone-style wall plate setup. Once installed, it gives the area a much cleaner look compared to having loose HDMI cables hanging around. The performance has been good for my use. I have not had any connection issues, and the signal works like expected. I like that they support newer HDMI specs like 8K 60Hz and 4K 120Hz, so they feel more future-proof than using older basic HDMI inserts. The build quality feels solid enough, and getting two in the pack is a good value if you are wiring more than one location or want a spare. It is not an exciting product, but it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Would I buy it again? Yes. It works, looks clean, and does the job.

Perfect for clean HDMI wall installs
I used these while running HDMI through a wall plate for a TV setup, and they worked exactly the way I hoped. They snap right into a standard keystone wall plate and basically turn the wall into a clean HDMI pass-through. Instead of a cable hanging out of the drywall like some home theater crime scene, you get a nice finished connection. I tested it with a 4K setup and didn’t notice any signal issues. These are rated to support high bandwidth HDMI like 8K60 or 4K120, which is nice if you’re running newer gear. The build quality feels solid and the connections hold tight. Once installed, it just works and looks professional. Overall this is a small part that makes a big difference. If you’re doing any kind of in-wall HDMI run, this is a simple way to make the install look clean instead of “I promise it’s temporary.”

Very Pleased With These
These keystone jacks fit easily and securely into standard wall plates that I installed in my home theater room and I have been very pleased with them for over a month now. If I ever need more, I would buy these again. In the walls, I am using high speed 8K HDMI cables and using 8K right angle adapters to plug those cables into the wall plates. Similar high speed 8K cables connect my DENON AVR to the wall plate and to my 4K Blu-Ray player, game console. With all of this in place, the audio/video has been fantastic! Hopefully, this review has been helpful to you.

I would recommend
They work great and snug in fitting into the jack

One-way an not reversible video signal
These only work with the "front" side being the output, and the "rear" (inside the wall) being the input. If you buy a two-pack and expect to have one at a wall plate behind your TV and another at a wall-plate near your receiver, it won't work. The video signal from the receiver (or blu-ray player, tv box, computer, whatever) MUST enter from the rear, and exit out the front. Not very useful if you want to use an in-wall rated HDMI cable to carry video signal from one wall plate down low to another wall-plate up high. This makes no sense, but I confirmed with both that if either one was reversed, my TV didn't get signal. Using 3' long cable matters 8k high speed rated cables for a 1080p60 signal - so there absolutely should be zero problems.
