I bought this noise loop isolator to fix the static/humming sound in my headset, and it actually worked right away. Using this with my MacBook Pro and external computer speakers. Prior to using this, if I had the speakers volume control turned up past about 1/3 volume, I would get a pretty noticable hum through the speakers. It was there when music was playing or not. I learned about Ground Loop Noise Isolators and figured for under $20, let's give it a shot. It works great! I actually have it inline between my computer and a KVM switch I use between two machines. It works perfectly eliminating that low hum that was present. I can turn the volume knob to full and the hum never shows up!

Noticeable difference. Purchased this to correct the audio I was receiving from my audio amplifier. It worked, no longer hear a white noise in my audio. It is sleek and works. Noticed it worked better by putting it closer to the earpiece than closer to the audio source. Recommend this to anyone as it does make your audio sound better and hearing is one of the five great human senses.

Bought to use with a Cardo Spirit communicator with Shure 215 IEMs. There is a very noticeable hiss when the communicator is actively transmitting audio that is likely negligible with the included speakers, but is evident with greater sound isolation and quality. This noise isolator greatly reduced the hiss, to be effectively inaudible when audio is playing. Would recommend for similar use cases. Great price, but a little bulky on a helmet for motorsports/atv/etc.

Completely fixed feedback from PC coming through Fender Rumble guitar amp. This eliminated the feedback buzz and allowed me to use my amp aux without issue.

I installed an iPod Nano (1G) dock in my truck 20+ years ago. I wired the dock directly to the cigarette lighter circuit (it was a 12V automotive dock. This worked fine with my Blaupunkt CD player, which had rear RCA inputs. I replaced that head unit with a cheapie Jensen Bluetooth deck, which has a front headphone jack. With this (much cheaper) head unit there was a high pitched dirty wail on the AUX input, which was very noticeable when the volume is turned up. This little noise isolator completely eliminated that noise. Gone. I was skeptical that this could even work, and then when reading the directions I also realized it was supposed to be hooked up opposite of my setup (male to stereo female to ipod). So I figured it wouldn't work well or at all. WRONG. The noise is completely gone, and now I don't have to pull the dash apart again to wire in a power filter. 100% recommend this, it saved me probably 3 hours of work in a hot car with no AC in the NC springtime. Highly recommend.

This thing does exactly what it says it does. The fat little section has an inductor that creates the magnetic field that makes sure when current (sound in this case) flows through it, it is normalized and doesn't have any potential difference (which causes the hum we all hate). It's cheap and works on the 3.5MM input that I plugged it into and no matter how much power I throw at it now, there is no more hum. A good buy and I recommend. Pro-tip: Where do I put this thing in the sequence? The age old question of before or after that amp??? Well, conventional wisdom usually says add this inline as close to the amp as possible between the head (stereo) and amp. In other words, put this on the input side of the amp. Stereo --> Isolator --> Amp --> Speakers. This works in the vast majority of cases. There are some instances where there might be components after the amp besides the speakers, perhaps some kind of Bluetooth adapter, or game console, or something. This situation is more rare but in that case you'd put an isolator after the amp (out put side) but as close to the speakers as possible so Stereo --> Amp --> Component X ---> Isolator --> Speakers. There is also a third scenario where you put an isolator before the amp AND after the amp but before the speakers because you are getting two kinds of issues like potential current differences from a bad ground on the stereo feeding into the amp (corrected with the input side isolator) and then a shielding problem on the way to the speakers or another component that is leaking on to the line with a bad ground or the like (corrected with the output side isolator closest to the speakers). Why not just add one single isolator as close to the speakers as possible to correct it all? I'm glad you asked. This is because unless you get super high quality and usually powered isolators, you can't expect miracles and the potential difference might get so high that one isolator just isn't enough to correct it all so you correct it one step at a time after each component that is causing an issue. Bottom-line: One isolator on the input side of the amp or right before the speakers is usually enough and this thing works great for that.

Ich habe dieses Gerät erworben, um eine deutliche Brummschleife zu beseitigen, die in meinem Wohnmobil durch den Wechselrichter verursacht wurde. Die Audioquelle ist mein Fernseher, dessen Ton ich über das Radio ausgeben lasse. Solange der Wechselrichter aktiv war, war das Brummen ausgesprochen störend und machte den Musikgenuss unmöglich. Nach dem Einschleifen dieses kleinen Geräts über die 3,5-mm-Klinkenverbindung wurde das Brummen vollständig eliminiert. Der Ton ist seither glasklar – das Ergebnis hat mich sofort überzeugt. Zur Langlebigkeit kann ich zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt noch keine Aussage treffen, da ich das Gerät erst kürzlich in Betrieb genommen habe. Der erste Eindruck ist jedoch durchweg positiv, weshalb ich derzeit 5 Sterne vergebe.

Este pequeño y barato dispositivo solucionó un problema de ruido bien gacho que tenia al tratar de meter una linea de audio a la computadora, ya que esta hacia "reaccion" con la tarjeta capturadora debido a la configuracion que tengo. En fin, se escuchaba un ruido muy fuerte y molesto, no solo eco o un zumbido leve por lo que tenia mis dudas pero por el precio decidi arriesgarme (al ser de importacion es mas relajo la devolucion) y resolvio mi problema al 100% eliminando el ruido por completo. Es pequeño y viene bien empacado, se ve y se siente de calidad a pesar del precio. Lo recomiendo sin duda si tienes un problema similar.

Pues resulta que el ruido de mierda que tenía en la línea de audio que iba de mi ordenador a mi interfaz tenía nombre y yo lo desconocía. El ruido de bucle de tierra, y resulta que este dispositivo lo elimina. Estaba puteadísimo con este ruido desde hace tiempo, y al final era sencillo de eliminar. Tonto de mi de no haber buscado antes cualquier tutorial, aún a sabiendas de que en internet hay tutorial para TODO. Sin exagerar... hasta para las cosas más insospechadas seguro que hay tutorial o pregunta resuelta en su defecto. Piensa en lo más raro del mundo, búscalo, y ZAS, tutorial al canto. No sé, por ejemplo, en la mejor forma de quitarse la suciedad que se cuela en las uñas de los pies... seguro que hay...Leche... que sí que lo hay... un artículo en prensa deportiva... Mae mía están flipaos de la cabeza... En fin, que el dispositivo en cuestión elimina a la perfección el dichoso bucle de tierra, y el sonido lo recoge super limpio. Eso sí, la señal viene con más intensidad, por lo que si eres un mijitas es bueno que lo tengas en cuenta. Si tengo un rato grabo un audio con la diferencia y lo monto en un video con una foto random y os la subo. Parece tener buena construcción y viene con el cable jack y clavija macho 3,5mm integrado (no sé si sería mejor tenerlo independiente, pero bueno, así se eliminan conexiones que pueden fallar a la larga). Recomendado.

Werkt uitstekend inbde auto. De ground loop ruis verdween als sneeuw in de zon. Stond versteld van de kwaliteit. Echte aanrader voor diegenen denken dat de ruis door de ground loop komt.

Works, even on loud buzzing! I host karaoke from time to time, and the bar’s got lots of TVs hooked up together. Their HDMI cable that runs into my laptop was feeding a ground loop into the mixer, and causing a loud audible buzz in their speakers. Tried a ground loop isolator that was 69.99$ plus tax at my local music store. It got rid of THAT loud buzz, but it created a new, even more annoying crackle and it was big and bulky. When this little gadget came in, I didn’t expect it to fix the problem for a fraction of the price of the other isolator I tried - but I was wrong! It worked flawlessly. Some people say it reduces sound quality, but I did not experience this at all, and the speakers at the bar are loud so I would notice 10/10 product, amazing price for what it does if you can’t rewire a bar’s sound system. I’ll be bringing this to every venue!
