MARENA Stage 1 Short Length Girdle with High-Back and Hook-and-eye Front Closure – Tummy Control Post Surgery

This was good support for surgery recovery. I especially liked that the crotch was gusseted. Better than the one I left the hospital with, for sure. Was a little too large, however, but that was on me not the brand. Wish I would have gone smaller in size.

Ok, after looking at soooo many. This stage 1 faja was referred to me by my masseuse. She highly recommended it. I am 18 days post op, and the binder has ran its course. I took the measurements as shown, waist, hip, thigh… and based on that I got the 2XL. It’s been 24hrs now and now I feel like I need to be in a L or XL. I am 5’1 166lbs, and now I can’t exchange or return it. I think if you’re reading this I would go a size down. The material is very nice and soft on your body and breathable. The crotch size well it’s a big hole. I wish it came with a zipper or something but to fix that I just wear underwear over it. Now I’m stuck wearing this size. Smh!

I bought this post tummy tuck as recommended by my surgeon. The material is light almost silky against my skin. The length on the legs were a little too long, although I am only 5'4". It offers some compression but not as much as I anticipated for a stage 1. It wears comfortable under clothing without being noticed.

I wish I had ordered this before surgery. I spent a couple weeks trying cheaper compression garments and abdominal binders which causes unnecessary discomfort and left me with uneven swelling. I’ve been wearing this new garment for two weeks and my swelling has reduced noticeably. It’s comfortable enough to wear all the time. I thought I ordered a XXL but I got the XL and I’m glad because it’s the perfect amount of pressure. The crotch is open so restroom use is possible. I would order again and recommend this. I had a tummy tuck and back liposuction, recovery is better with this product.

This is the best stage 1 garment on the market. Size DOWN because it is very stretchy and giving. There are no seams and the legs comes to the knee so no ugly and uncomfortable lace type material to cut your thighs. The fabric is so comfy. The multiple row of hooks allows you to adjust as your swelling decreases. I wish Marena would make a stage 2 garment exactly like this but with rows of hooks.
