The small precise volume range helps making diluted samples for my slides much easier than the cheap plastic bulb pipettes. This micropipette is very affordable and when tested using a precise top loading balance I found it was quite accurate and precise.Compared to much more expensive micropipettes I’ve used I found the thumb piston to be quite stiff. The piston has quite a bit of resistance to it. For at home stuff this isn’t an issue at all, but if you were using this for regular lab work all day that would become quite tiresome. On the plus side the shape is rather ergonomic so it’s comfortable to use.Overall I thought the ONiLAB micropipette worked great for my amateur uses. In my line of work I regularly pipette for several hours straight and believe the resistance of the piston to be too much for regular prolonged use. I’d recommend this for other science enthusiasts but wouldn’t for industrial applications.

I have purchased several products from OniLab and I have been consistently impressed with their quality. This pipette is no different. I now own three different sizes of this pipette and they perform exceptionally well. In fact, I find them comparable to the expensive Eppendorf pipettes that I used to use. The best part is that they don't come with the hefty price tag of $800 or $900 each.The pipette easily accepts tips and ejects them cleanly. The fluid uptake and release are smooth and precise. I especially appreciate the volume adjustment dial, which works flawlessly without any looseness.The package also included a small mounting hanger, an extra filter, and some lubricating grease, which I found to be thoughtful additions.I tested the dispensing volumes using a scale and deionized water, and I am happy to report that they are accurate. It's well calibrated, especially given that it's autoclavable -- waiting to see what that does to the calibration :OIn addition to this pipette, I have also purchased centrifuges and other equipment from OniLab, and I can confidently say that their products are top-notch. OniLab is quickly becoming one of my go-to supply brands, along with 4e's Scientific.highly recommend it, no-brainer a 5-star rating.

I have a number of Onilab products in my little home lab; they produce some really nice and affordable products (I am in no way affiliated with them! Just a happy customer!), so I happily ordered this micropipette.I have a few other micropipettes from another manufacturer, but I needed a 10-100 uL pipette, so I ordered that size. The product came quickly, with instructions, a calibration tool, and an adhesive pipette holder. The instructions were written well; for those who haven't used a micropipette before they clearly cover the two techniques, as well as a calibration protocol.Speaking of calibration; unfortunately I don't yet have an analytic balance, only a centigram scale, so I can't test the factory calibration very closely.As a quick check I did set the pipette to 75 uL, dispensed 10 times, and got a reading of 0.74 (since my scale is only accurate to about 0.02g, take that for what it's worth). I also have no way to test precision either alas.It feels like a solid piece of equipment; not flimsy, with good action on the plunger. It's also fully autoclavable, unlike my others which are only half-autoclavable. All in all a really nice, affordable addition to a small lab.
