The perfect rug pad! Dense, but light weight, easy to cut, very grippy on floor and rug, inexpensive. We were worried about adding a pad under our Persian rugs because they might pose a trip hazard. However, these are thin enough that the edge-height of the rug is not raised. the grip is so good, on larger rugs, you will need 2 people to straighten them because the won't move at all! Although they are thin, the material is super dense so it adds a noticeable cushion.

I have newly refurbished old hardwood floors with a shiny surface. This is an excellent pad that I have bought and cut up to accommodate various sizes. I have even put two scraps together by duct taping them on top and that worked fine. Because my floors are new and rather slick, rugs still tend to slowly shift about with foot traffic, but they do not slip or slide about. I have to re-adjust them slightly but I have purchased several other types based on the height I needed, and this is comparable to the other thick pads with solid non-stick backs. These are great for a low profile rug pad.

I read a lot of reviews before buying this pad. It is perfect for our needs. It is not thick and I did not want thick as I did not want to catch my foot on the edge of the rug and trip. My goal was to protect my hard wood floors. It is made well, very tightly made and it is very evenly squared. I needed 8x10 and this is 9x 12 but that was much easier to line the rug up on and just cut off the two sides. It cut very easy with regular scissors. It says 1/4 inch but it is not that thick which was what I wanted.

This felt pad is exactly what is pictured, and it was THICKER than I expected. To me, its the perfect thickness, very well made. It also has the little black dots on the reverse side to help from sliding. I have brand new hardwood floors and I did not want to buy something that was "too sticky" on the side that will be resting on the floor - this pad is perfect! Also, I was impressed with the shipping. I ordered a 9X12 pad, and it came folded in a a large plastic bag in a large flat cardboard box - not overly folded and not too creased. THANK YOU!!!!!

It doesn't provide as much of a cushion as I had hoped. The area rug doesn't slip, at all. It was folded into squares when it shipped and they took a couple of days to settle. It's okay. I wish it was thicker.

Works great but could be maybe just a little smaller than the actual rug it goes under. they line up precisely together so sometimes an end will stick out and its process for two people to get them to line back up together.

Used under a hand woven wool rug that’s pliable and need a bit of padding to keep in good shape and prevent it from sliding around. Just the right amount of thickness. Rug still moves a bit when I vacuum but am happy with the purchase. Doesn’t leave sticky residue on rug so it’s worth the trade off of slight movement when cleaning. Would buy again

I was expecting a cushioned feel under my feet when adding this pad under our new area rug. That was the purpose of spending extra for a premium pad. Visually it looked more substantial online than other lower cost options. However it feels exactly as it did without the pad. After an hour of trying to get our 9 x 12 rug to line up on it, it appears the pad is larger than the rug and will need trimming if we keep it. I will wait for my husband gets home to decide. My sons & I were going to surprise him by having it done by I expect he will be underwhelmed. The only reason I’d keep would be to protect my floor and skip the hassle of returning. Delivery only took a few days as expected.
