Great quality hatch
I used this product in my Chevy Blazer so I could easily access the fuel pump. It was a product that was recommended by Merricks Garage Amazon account page. Excellent product and would buy again.

good quality product for my jon boat
This is the second boat that I have installed this product. I installed it into my new Yamaha G3 1448 Jon boat. I weigh around 225lbs and when I stand on the hatch cover, there is no sign that it can't handle my weight. The first picture shows the finished project, while the next three show the progression of the project. I don't think you will be dissatisfied with this product.

Stop Looking, Buy Now
This product is exactly what I was looking for. I have a G3 1548DK duck boat, and was wanting to cut the top of my rear pods, remove the foam, and install hatches to have some extra storage. I’m incredibly glad I did this, as the foam was waterlogged and weighed nearly 70lbs.These hatches are incredibly well made and will last a lifetime. Stop looking, but this brand.

Glove box for my boat
My boat came with a GPS map and a ship to shore radio which didnt work anymore. I decided to pull that junk from the dash and add a glove box. The unit i got from Amazon fit well and i am very happy with the installation!

Does The Job But Latches and Quality Control Are A Bit Lacking
I installed these in a set of storage cabinets in my truck camper. I just wanted to note that the hatch does not come with any mounting hardware so plan a trip to your hardware store accordingly. The hatch is great quality but I really don't care for the latches that much. They seem a bit cheap and an after thought when compared to the build quality of the hatch. I also noticed multiple stripped screws where DPI installed the piano hinge to the hatch. Overall it'll do the job but the quality control needs to step up and maybe rethink the latches. Overall I am content but not overly happy about them.

Buy it now. No I'm not a paid person to leave a good review. This product is amazing. Sturdy as can be. Nice latches, nice seals. Nothing wrong with this product. Not sure how the hinges will keep from rusting, maybe it's stainless. Only way could have been better, if the lid itself covered up the screw holes.
