I needed a replacement hood and ordered this. So far I love it, it seals very well and if you have the provision to hook up a air supply, the hood could be pressurized and probably very comfortable. I did not have that option, but I may work it in next time. Works great, kept the sand (glass beads) out of my eyes and hair, and was very comfortable, much more than the old one it replaced.

This thing is heavy duty. Bit of a pain to get on over a respirator, but it does go with a little bit of pulling. I used this about 30 minutes after it arrived to media blast the rims on my son's car. Wish I had clean air to hook up to keep it a bit cooler as it was almost 100 F today.

I read all the reviews here and I decided to buy it, I use it for sand blasting in the open, this product is well made and for the price it was a good investment, if you use it be aware of the weather , it has an air supply connector on the back , if you don’t use it will fog, no biggie , if you are a diver use the defogger technique “ lol” I highly recommend this product once again, be aware of the outside temperature when use it. Very well designed and fit s great.

I modified it by cutting a slot in the back and using four CPAP hoses all fastened in which coupled to a 50ft drier house connected to an air purifier fan so I get filtered blowing air from 50 feet away. This setup provides ample air flow to keep fogging up lens even outside on a cold day. I don't think the provided air port would work very well but since the thing was cheap it was a good thing to experiment with improving.

Can easily wear a large respirator undet this hood. Comes with a warning label that says risk of cancer. Otherwise its good enough lol.

Works perfect! People complaining about the lens fogging but I guess they don’t know how to I use it, I added a regulator with dryer/waster separator and adjusted the air flow and it works exactly as it’s supposed to. And it has the glass lens not the cheap plastic one!

For twenty bucks, you can't beat it.Give it thirty p s I on a regulator no fogging, nothing keeps a sand out of your face worked like a glove
