This is AMAZING!!! Worth every penny! Easy to put together and start finding metal!! My daughter and son in law inherited a really old dilapidated home!! The yard was full of nails screws etc . I bought this for them hoping it would assist in clearing the rather large yard! Omg, it picked up so much metal!!! One of the best finds on amazon! So glad they will be able to clean up the yard quicker than picking. Them up one nail/ screw at a time now!

After finishing up a construction job, I needed a fast and reliable way to clear the worksite of metal debris, especially nails and screws. This tool worked like a charm! We just had our siding replaced and I bought this tool upon recommendation from my vet. She didn’t specify this brand, but recommend I use a metal detector to find stray nails. I ended up buying this instead of the metal detector and I’m so glad I did! I picked up dozens of nails, staples, and sharp filaments. I recommend you get a piece of Tupperware that you no longer need and every time you hear the “clunk” of a few nails hitting the metal, grab them off and put them in the cup. For the price, this tool is a deal, and certainly cheaper than a vet or doctor visit or a new tire! It’s not something I would want to use long-term, but it was fine for the one hour I needed it. The wheels are plastic and low to the ground, hence it gets stuck on grass and uneven terrain easily. Also the unit rides low, obviously, so that the magnet works best. But if you needed this for your work, I would get one that sits higher and has a stronger magnet. Nevertheless, “done is better than perfect”, and this machine no doubt saved pain and medical bills, so it did a great job!

This product works great and is worth every penny. My house was built in 1915 with a cedar shake roof and 5 years before I bought it had asphalt shingles nailed to the cedar. Tearing it off left a lot of nails and staples in the yard and on the lower roofs. The sweeper works flawlessly on the lower roof levels and very well in the grass too. Do yourself a favor and mow/weed eat the grass short if you can before you tear off the roof. The quick release design works very well; essentially you pull the flat magnet inside up about 3 inches inside the aluminum frame and the nails etc. all drop off in a row. We used an old piece of plywood to drop the nails on making them easy to pick up. A very few nails followed the magnet up the front and back of the frame, but this was negligible. Where the ground is not level or the grass is a little tall a few nails will drag off the rear but this was not a problem if we dropped them off the sweeper often. The magnet is a little harder to pull up when you really load it up with nails. It picked up nails, screws, small bolts, tin disks from roofing felt, staples and even a few old square nails which have probably been in the yard almost a hundred years. I had to help a few partially buried nails up with a screwdriver, but I think it's fair to say the yard has less metal in it now than it ever has since the house was built. Definitely recommended.

Not difficult to put together at all. No directions, but hubby watched the video on Amazon listing to make sure wheels were on the correct side, and how to adjust the height, just to make sure. As he was putting it together, a few times his wrench got close and the magnet pulled it closer and picked it up so fast, it was crazy! Can’t wait to take it to a job site. We’ve been picking up nails and screws like crazy around a new build. We thought it would take us years to get them all up. Now, we have hope 🤪 It'll be more fun and less backbreaking for sure. This thing picked up a ton of nails (shame on my roofer) so cant complain about that. One flaw is that the little tightener (left in picture) broke off almost immediate with barely any stress, it’s a weakly welded bolt that can handle zero pressure. Once it broke it made it very annoying to use, as others have said, you end up only being able to drag it. Nothing a drill and a retainer clip can’t solve but be warned because I can’t imagine that thing not breaking during first use. This thing is quite large which is great for bigger spaces in yard/driveway but made it tough to use closer to the house. Not impact to rating, but wish it had a way to catch/trap the nails so that wouldn’t get pushed around from uneven ground/grass Listen and clean often. But thankfully they usually just get pushed to around the corner yet still stay attached.

Best money I have spent! I use it on a construction site no more flat tires or nails and our tires! The only thing I’d mention is it does not do well if the ground is uneven you have to lift it up and take it over the uneven spots it doesn’t have a wide opening on the bottom. It’s perfect for a level driveway but as I said, if you have to go over gravel or something, the wheels are not that high or adjustable.
