APEKX Clip Bluetooth Adapter & Receiver w/Mic for 3.5mm Headphone &Car Aux

This device functions precisely as advertised. I was searching for a way to convert my in-ear monitors into Bluetooth headphones to replace my old AirPods. It offers excellent audio quality and doesn’t andd any noticeable delay. I appreciate the inclusion of a USB-C charging port, which simplifies the charging process. The battery life appears adequate, provided you charge it whenever you’re not using them. Connecting to Bluetooth is straightforward, and it’s the smallest device I could find, making it easy to attach to your clothing or discreetly store in your pocket.

Did you ever own a pair of shoes that were so comfortable that you didn’t want to replace them? That’s the way I felt about my BOSE AE 2 headphones purchased in 2014. They’re so light, fits perfectly and produces the best sound. Unfortunately, they’re wired and none of my portable devices have an analog input. So they just sat in my desk drawer for years. That is, until this little device came along. With a couple of small Neodymium magnets and a drop of crazy glue, I just stuck this small Bluetooth adapter to my headphones and I’m enjoying my AE 2 headphones again. Music doesn’t sound as fantastic as wired, but the lightweight and comfort fit and now convenience of wireless is well worth the tradeoff. Also very convenient to charge. I bought a couple of these about 4 years ago and they've been working with no problems. Awesome little adapter that is highly recommended.

I ordered because I wanted to use wired headphones but wanted Bluetooth and this was recommended. This was really easy to connect to my phone and setup, the sound was good, my only complaint is the battery only lasts around 7 hours of use but other than that this works great

Great tech - easy pairing, good controls and functions. Strong bluetooth connection - great sound. Good solution. I use this in combination with Etymotic headphones so I get the full protection from external sound (e.g., chainsaw, mower, subway) with robust headphone sound.

I had one of these to use my fave earbuds (wired) to my phone. But when I got a long term trial of SiriusXM, I wanted to get that music source in the bedroom. So after trying out the older APEKX, I bought a second one. I got a cable at the 99 cents store with RCA connectors and a 3.5 mm plug like earbuds used to use. The RCAs went into an unused set on the back of the bedroom receiver, the 3.5 plug went into the APEKX. I paired the APEKX to my phone and opened the SiriusXM app on the phone, set the receiver to the APEKX input and I could kick back in bed and scroll my FAVORITE stations on the SiriusXM for music without commercials. And the other APEKX is still used for phone connectivity on flights for downloaded movies. (minor) DOWN POINTS: To make reconnecting the APEKX and the phone easy, I have to unpair them when done. Takes 6 seconds and about the same on reconnect. The volume control for this set up doesn't work as well as with real earbuds. I suspect that's because earbuds are 8 Ohms and the line-input is about 100K Ohms. So the receiver volume knob gets turned up more than normal. And I promise, those are MINOR issues. I keep a charger plugged in with the charge cord near the APEKX in case it needs some juice, but that's not often as this thing seems to last forever on a full charge.

While this product doesn't do everything they say it will, it provided the basic functionality I was looking for. I'm a fan of my non-lightening headphones. Dongles for my iphone were unreliable when it came to maintaining a connection; a strain would be put on the connection when you put it in your pocket, etc. This device solves that problem. Audio quality is fine. A loss in fidelity is always expected when using bluetooth of any sort (not just this product) and the sound quality is perfectly respectable for walking around. If you've used bluetooth headphones or speakers before, you won't have a problem with this. If you're an audio snob who spends thousands of dollars on a tube preamp for your home stereo turntable, why are you using bluetooth at all let alone the $15 option? Here are my pros and cons. Pros: - Small and lightweight - uncomplicated - pairing is pretty easy - CHEAP Cons: - External mics are not supported. Despite what some reviews or comments may say, I have not been able to figure out a way to get this device to use anything other than the onboard pinhole microphone which is annoying. It took a few calls with people complaining about my audio quality before I figured out that it wasn't using my headphone mic. If you want to take a call with this, you'll need to clip it to your shirt collar. - Play/pause button work, but volume and track skip don't seem to. YMMV, but I haven't been able to skip tracks or adjust volume at least with spotify on my iphone SE. I can adjust volume with my phone controls which is fine, but it means that the phone needs to be accessible. - Device power up and pairing sounds are extremely loud. I guess it's a good thing that you'll be able to hear important alerts like this, but just make sure your headphones or earbuds aren't right on or in your ears when powering up or pairing. Overall, this device is a fantastic example of "You get what you pay for". I paid ~$15 for a thing that lets me use headphones I like with my iphone without having to use a dongle. I can start and stop music using the onboard controls and that's about it. Do I wish the other functions worked as advertised? Yes. Is this worth $15 anyways...maybe. While it looks like my cons outweigh the pros, the fact that it's so cheap is a pretty big win. I'm sure there are options that have all the bells and whistles, but if you're like me and just want to listen to music on old headphones you've grown to love, this is a perfectly fine solution.

This APEKX Adaptor is a fabulous product. This adapter has given new life to my QC25 headset. The pairing process to my Samsung monitor is simple. The convenience of having this small clip on to my shirt or belt makes the use of the adapter and using my headset very convenient. Mostly I want to say what a wonderful outcome to read about the product before buying and then when receiving the product it performs as described. In today's world of hype it is a treat to have the results described actually be experienced. Thank you APEKX. Jim M.

I bought this back in December and it never held a charge. But I was using it with my tablet, so I've been living with the flaw by plugging it in all the time. But now I've got a new phone which doesn't have a headphone jack, so I need to start carrying around something like this just to use the type of earbuds that fit my ears. If I want to use this adapter, I literally need to carry a battery backup. And the adapter's not eligible for any kind of support... So, yeah, one star. If the company wants to contact me and offer to replace it, I'll happily change this review. As it stands, I'd recommend buying something else.

Funciona perfectamente y la batería dura bastante. Si quieres evitar el daño que los auriculares inalámbricos le hacen a tu cerebro y empiezas a usar cascos de cable, está es muy buena opción.

Il prodotto fa egregiamente il suo lavoro. Io l'ho utilizzato per comandare via BT la musica che trasmetto nel casco da snowboard. Molto pratica la ricarica via USB (tipo C). La connessione BLE è facile e intuitiva. Pratica clip posteriore per agganciare dove vuoi (nel mio caso fibbie del paraorecchie). Segnalo che all' interno dell'imballo troverete un cavetto jack maschio/maschio da 20cm circa (oltre al cavo USB), che nel mio caso è stato utilissimo per uscire dalle cuffie senza troppo filo che avanza Adesso non resta altro che testarlo sul lungo periodo!
