PF63 Oil Filter GM Original Equipment (6 Pack)

Exactly what my owner manual lists as the needed filter. FITS PERFECTLY. Original appearance as factory. Same quality as the factory. It's perfect. I hope the other five are just as good when eventually used.

Do you enjoy going to the stealership and getting ripped off? If so, dont buy these. If you are a normal red blooded American who like thier GM products but hate how they rip us off, buy these. They are oem fit for my 2025 chevy 2500 6.6 gas truck. They are genuine filter that comes on the truck. Install was easy and fits perfectly. Easy to grip by hand and very durable.

If I’m writing a review, you better listen. These were exactly as expected, 6 OEM blue PF63 filters cut from a case pack so there were rub marks and razor blade scratches but otherwise look good. They are the new style base plate with more holes not the older style with less holes. Went ahead and ordered another 6 pack while they still have some left because the cheap Chinese PF63A’s don’t look to be the same quality as these.

OEM filter, just what I was looking for.

I am a professional mechanic, and I purchased these filters from TXN Supply Co through Amazon because they were advertised as ACDelco GM Original Equipment PF63 filters. After receiving them, I compared one directly with a genuine PF63 purchased from my local authorized GM dealer. The differences are significant. The dealer-supplied filter is marked GM part number 12735811 and includes a Data Matrix traceability code. The filter received from TXN Supply is marked 12816256, has a different UPC, different label layout, no matching Data Matrix code, and is stamped “Product of Malaysia.” There are also clearly visible construction differences. The dealer filter has a rectangular louvered center support, a different base-plate stamping and a blue-painted outer seam. The Amazon/TXN filter has a different spiral-style center support, a different base-plate profile and an exposed silver outer seam. A change in supplier or manufacturing design is possible, and I cannot independently certify that these filters are counterfeit. However, the part number, traceability markings, labeling, country of origin and physical construction do not match the filter supplied directly by my GM dealer. None of these differences were clearly disclosed in the listing. I purchased these for a GMC Yukon equipped with the 6.2L L87 engine affected by GM’s engine recall. Considering the importance of correct oil filtration in this application, I am not willing to risk using a product whose authenticity and GM authorization I cannot verify. I will use the dealer-supplied filter instead and request a full refund. Buyers should compare these filters carefully with a current PF63 obtained directly from an authorized GM dealer before installing them. TXN Supply and Amazon should provide documentation confirming the origin, manufacturer and GM authorization for part number 12816256.

Honestly love these. Got as an "upgraded" filter for my 08 Sierra. Price just made sense and now I dont have to buy filters for a year. Oil pressure got a bit of a bump too as these were larger than stock. Will buy again.. eventually.

there is something odd about these filters that make me think they are knock offs. I tried two filters and both were very difficult to thread on. They just didn't want to catch. I eventually did get one to spin on after I bought another brand that spun on very easily first try.
