I am very happy with this mat. I bought a few others online and as soon as I put any weight on them when kneeling, my knees were literally on the ground because they were so flimsy. This one is awesome though; it stays firm and provides really good knee support. Perfect for working out on hardwoods or when you need some extra support for sensitive knees, etc. Lightweight and very cleanable. Highly recommended.

I was doing sit ups on a folded up blanket for about 8 months and I was getting pressure sores on my tailbone :( I've done over 1000 sit ups on this mat now and with each one my tailbone thanked me! The mat is sturdy but gives enough that it doesn't hurt to sit up or whatever you're going to be doing on it. And it folds up nice and is easy to clean. I'm so very glad I invested in this mat :)

I have back issues and I am never able to do floor exercises or stretches because yoga mats are never thick enough.This mat has very nice, thick firm padding, like a wrestling mat!I love that it folds and has handles as well. I am able to do exercises and physical therapy that I have not been able to do for years

I bought quantity two because its 12 inches off the ground to the sedan back seat of the car. Plus Foldable super light weight with handles. Very easy to clean, and durable does not tear easily either. Allows my Senior Doberman to go into and off the car with easy. Its from the back seat cushion to this mat is perfect steps. Going off the car down was the most critical due to the pressure when he goes down. I tried several different dog ramps, zero worked, not one. The back seat door was the major problem because it doesn't open up all the way for a 4 door sedan. It was almost impossible even with one step two steps, door just was always in the way. My Dobie has arthritis in his neck and front paw so the ramps just caused more problems then anything else. Too narrow, too heavy, slips, or the ramp moved when he would walk up or down the ramp. This was ultimately best investment I did for my dog mobility to take him into my car.

I haven't been able to exercise on the floor because of fibromyalgia, which causes much pain whenever I press against any hard surface. I really wanted to do some floor exercises so I searched the internet for a nice thick but comfortable mat and this one was the best result. I have been able to do the exercises I wanted to do so I am very pleased about that. I was able to get the least expensive color since color was not an issue for me and so I was pleased with the price. It's not heavy at all and it folds up easily for storage. The one negative thing is that the covering is not that durable. The first time I used it my cat got on it with me and afterward I found 2 small holes from his claws. I don't think this will hold up to rough handling but I am going to be careful with it because I would like this mat to last .

Okay, full disclosure. I did buy this to take on a trip to sleep on. I tried it out at home and it was too hard. But it's an excellent exercise matt if you don't like feeling the floor under you when you're up on your elbows or knees. It still went on the trip, but I got the 2" folding sleeping mattress, and between the two (hard one on the bottom for support, soft one on top for comfort) I slept really well. My back won't let me sleep on random mattresses (hotels, friends' beds, couches). Doing this helps me get a good night's sleep and not have any back issues when I'm traveling.

These are so good we've bought three now. Decent price, well made, seems to hold up well. Easy to fold and unfold and doesn't weight much at all.

Meets description well! Thick mat. We have two under our gymnastics bar. No Velcro to connect them, but easy to add.

The Carry handle

The mat is actually less than six feet long and not quite 2 feet wide. Its 70"x23.5"
