Bad after sales support
I purchased a washing machine in December 2021. It was easy to install and use. After 1 year of use a strange rubber noise started appearing from the drum's bearing area. I carefully checked the area between inner and outer drums there was not any foreign objects. I made videos and asked the seller to help me solve the problem. The seller raised a request with Samsung support team. During this time the water pump is getting make noise and burning smell came from it. Samsung highly recommended disconnected the machine and they will arrange a visit of their dedicated contractors to my property. The contractor came to us in 5 days and bring a new water pump for replacement. The old pump was replaced. The drum’s bearing was greased. He checked the drum, and he couldn't identify the problem. He did the test, no errors appeared during the test. After one week of using the machine, the noise from the drum still there and the funny noise started coming from the replaced water pump. I come back to Samsung again with another batch of videos. They organised a video call with me and try to identify the issue during the call. They heard the noise from the drum area but the noise from the pump didn't appear during the test. They arranged another visit of the same contractors. They pop up in one week time with a new drum. The old drum was replaced, and the problem was identified (the bearing seal touched the drum and make the noise). I showed to the contractor the video with the funny noise from the replaced pump with chronology (for 1,5 month I was able to record the noise 4 times - after replacement the old pump). He tested the machine again but couldn't find any issue (but based on my videos he said - yes it the noise coming from the pump). He told me that I need to back to Samsung, and they must authorise the new repair of the replaced pump.A come back to Samsung and they started kick me off to contactors (they replaced the pump for you, and they supposed to provide 90-days warranty on it). I told them that this isn't right because they yours dedicated contactors, who are using your original spare parts. I forwarded the email to the contractors, and they confirmed my worlds. After Samsung blamed me that I overloaded the machine (on all videos that I provided the machine was loaded 1/3 -1/2 max, it stand on the MDF panel and, the water pump blocked ( I clean it every single week). From the first day this repair was non economical because two main units faulty based on my videos.I escalated the case with Samsung. After reviewing the case, they told me: I removed the rear cover of the washing machine in this case Samsung doesn't provide warranty on this machine????????They had all my videos from the begin of this case but after two replacements under warranty they changed the mind and stopped help me.At the end I have the defective replaced pump and Samsung won't continue this case anymore.I spent two months on this. My confidence in Samsung products dropped from 10 to 1.

Great machine
Washes really well, on a par with a Bosch except for a few user experience issues. I bought this over the Bosch for its energy rating. Nice big drum, easy settings with smooth operation, 15 min wash is useful. It's much quieter than my last Indesit. It has a ridiculous tune at the end that you can turn off, but you have to turn it off every wash, it doesn't remember your choices. Also, note, you can't turn off the button noises so you're stuck with those. Nearly didn't buy it because of the noises. The door doesn't close when you slam it, you have to push it in. I wash everything at 30 degrees but the machine defaults to 40 degrees so you have to scroll through all the temperatures every time, it doesn't remember what you like (come on Samsung!) Also, when it's on, the lights are constantly flashing, which normally means something is finished or broken, it shouldn't flash. But these are tiny details. I would buy it again, very happy with it.

Update. Still great but...
Our old Bosch never gave good service and when it became impracticable to repair, i looked around for its successor. Didn't know Samsung made white goods and boy i'm glad they do! Excellent value and my wife loves it! You can turn the "Finished" tune off but not the selection warble but that's no deal breaker. We use mixed load for most washes. It checks weight and then chooses time, which is mostly 57 minutes. It uses less water, takes a third less time and clothes come out much drier and smelling fresh. How technology moves on! UPDATE June 2022! Two months ago it started making a clicking sound in spin. I reported it to Amazon who put me in touch with the retailer, who put me in touch with Samsung who still havn't sent anyone to inspect! Indian call centr asks for videos, repeat descriptions. I've tried calling, emailing and lately emailing their CEO. STILL NO SOLUTION!!! Update! I went back to Amazon who chased the retailer who got in touch with Samsung. They finally contacted me and sent an engineer. He fixed it in minutes! It is a great machine but customer support truly sucks!

Works well, very quiet
Took a while to work out what program to use, as cottons can take up to 3 hours! Run every time on “mixed” and everything clean in just over an hour
