I chose to get 2 DS-XML350's just to see if I could justify moving to LED only. They perform flawlessly, their low heat emission makes room temp and humidity easy to maintain, and the plants like them too. I later purchased another 2 DS-XML350's for complete room utilization, still the temp and humidity is all under control all year round. Learning the different color waves and intensities and seeing the plants respond to changes much sooner than they showed under halide & sodium lights I love the adjustable features. Once I had the 4 DS-XML350's in the finish room I really felt the production room was dark, so believing in Advanced LED Lights as I have come to I ordered and received 2 DS300 EX-VEG for that room. Now I don't see any transformation shock from grow to bud cycle. The plants just don't seem to slow down in growth and leaves, they just start shooting out buds everywhere, real fast too. So as far as the Advanced LED Lights go I know they work better than advertised, return greater results faster and I know the investment was worth the difference. I probably have one of the highest electricity costs per kilowatt hour but the change in my electricity bill completely changed how I feel about LED's. My first concern was for "Results" in the crop but WOW, it has made home farming affordable and you still get amazing harvests. I will be adding to my DS300 collection soon, they are so good for the little plants, but you have to use the adjusters that come with them, your plants will force you to keep raising the lights so much that the adjusters become required.
