An Army laundry bag just I remembered while in the military. Great quality. We like it because of the versatility. Easily washed; use for dirty laundry while in vacation; and hold a lot of laundry. We got two. One for whites and one for dark clothes. A good buy.

Great gift. My husband had his original laundry bag for over 30 years. I had re-strung it and it had worn holes in it. I got him this as a gift. Size and fabric and design are great. He was surprised I noticed and thought of this for him.

Although the construction is undoubtedly very high quality for the price, the bag is small. Expect it to hold about half as much as a classic "large" laundry bag. There are a few different-sized bags pictured for this item - be aware that it will be roughly SQUARE when full. The image of a tall bag on this item is very misleading. One good thing: I've seen reviews for some new, large cotton bags claiming that they shrink significantly after the first wash. You can be confident that this bag has been washed dozens, if not a hundred times. It's not going to shrink. Mine came with no "US" emblem - one bag had a scribbled sharpie of a serviceperson's last name, the other had a well-printed last name and some identifying information. Both were too worn out to be confused with identifying information that might make me lose my bag.

I bought my first laundry bag in the early 80's while in college at the local Army/Navy store. It has served me well. Over the past couple of years though, the holes in it have gotten too big to sew back together and I've seen socks and the like fall out. So, decided it was time to retire that bag and recruit a new one. This one fit the bill nicely. It's the same size as my old one so it will fit a week's worth of laundry without problem. The eyelets for the braided nylon drawstring are metal so they shouldn't tear out anytime soon. It should outlive me!

Not the USGI Laundry Bag. False advertising. 1 star because while its still usable, its a smaller size, the wrong color, made in China, no US stamp, and appears to be used, and I paid for new.

Absolutely perfect! My boyfriend uses one he got in the 90’s when he was in the Marines. It is getting worn out and some small holes. Got this for him for Father’s Day to replace it. Heavy duty canvas and exactly as described.
