Great product
Well worth the $50. Integrates with home assistant and frigate. Easy to install and image quality is great. I personally use tailscale and everything works fine. The door trim was my issue. It wouldn't sit flush. I snipped the wedge and everything fit. It's wired so no battery life. Easy setup and wifi is not dropped. My wife loves it for Security of our daughter.

Just what I have been looking for.
I love this product. You DO NOT have to pay $9 a month for THEM to keep your video. It records to a 128Gig SD card. Installation is simple. The Kasa app is very nice. You can draw a square where you want the camera to notice activity. It records audio and video when motion is detected. It erases old video when it runs out of memory. If you have to grab video, on iPhone you can screen record so you can grab what you need to your phone, and send to anyone from there, even police, so easy. When I first installed it. It said the SD card was not the right format. The app kind of froze for a while........it was downloading latest firmware. When that was all done, everything worked great. It comes with an external electronic doorbell as you have to disable your current doorbell. The electronic doorbell has 3 volume levels, much louder than the old fashioned bell we had. It has 8 different ringtones. I did have to buy an $80 Netgear WIFI booster as out router is in a room in the back part of the house and the doorbell is at the front door. Even thought my phone shows 5 full bars, the video camera wasn't getting wifi. Once the WIFI booster was "WPS" synced to the router (push the button on each device) it all worked. When you monitor the video feed, you can hear audio from the outside. Using the app, you can use your phone to talk to the person at your front door. The audio is loud and clear. I have 2 KASA wall switches that turn on the lights to the front and rear doors in to the house. I have 2 KASA lights that use the app. You can change color and brightness. I have 4 KASA smart outlets, when Christmas comes, the app turns on all the Christmas lites in the house a the same time. I am in heaven. 1 app for everything with NO MONTHLY FEE. This is working for me. I hope it works for you too. I might buy a cheap small tablet that can be set to monitor the video at the front door all day.

Great Smart Doorbell with Excellent Video, but a Few Minor Drawbacks
The Kasa Smart Video Doorbell (KD110) delivers solid performance and excellent value overall. The 2K resolution video is crisp and clear, making it easy to see visitors and details around my front door, even at night thanks to the night vision feature. I also like the 2-way audio — the sound is clear on both ends, which makes talking to delivery people or guests simple and convenient. Installation was straightforward with hardwired power, and I appreciate that I don’t have to worry about batteries dying. The notifications are fast and reliable, and it works well with Alexa and Google Home for voice control. Cloud and SD card storage options give flexibility, though I wish the app interface were a bit smoother and that some features (like advanced motion zones) were easier to customize. Overall it’s a dependable smart doorbell with excellent video quality — just a few small quirks keep it from five stars. Highly recommended for most users!

This is what I think.
This Kasa camera is the 3rd or 4th camera I have given a try. I had tried both battery operated and hard wired. The idea of having to replace or charge the batteries every few months turned me away from the battery operated cameras. I have an older Condo and had to purchase a new transformer in order to power this Kasa. I almost didn't try it because the doorbell transformer is tucked up inside a small laundry closet and was heck to get access to... and even then I had to do most of the work with my left hand. Anyway, this old dude managed somehow. When I went to hook up the camera the instructions told me to look for a blinking orange light to confirm I was getting power. Well, all I could see was a white circle light and it was not blinking. I contacted customer service and they walked me through the process a couple of times and I still only saw the white circle light. The CS rep finally said something to the effect of... "You are looking at the small LED light at the top, right?" Well... with my old eyeballs I had never even seen or noticed that itty bitty thing. Once the light was confirmed blinking I was up and running. When I removed my doorbell cover there was a large hole in the wall behind it that was larger than the base of the camera body. I went to Michael's and bought a $2 oval wood piece and painted it. I had to drill holes for the screws and the wires but that part was easy. It has been about a month since installation and I have to give this camera 5 STARS. I'm sure it is not the best one out there... but for $45 it does remarkably well. It makes no sense to me at all to pay for remote storage of 'MY' video. For starters, I think just by having the camera light up when someone approaches is a pretty good deterrent to someone with ulterior motives. I get a notice within 3 seconds if I am on WiFi and maybe 10 or 12 seconds when I am away. This gives plenty of time to speak to someone through the unit... or to use one of the handful of recorded messages. When large trucks or vans go by I usually get a false alert... but I don't find it to be much of a nuisance as I don't live on a major street. The software does allow you to outline the 'active' areas but I have not found that it makes much of a difference. If desired, you have the option to pay a small monthly fee for storage (much less than some others) but you also have the option to insert a Micro SD card, which is what I did. As I understand it, the old video gets replaced to make room for the more recent video. Someone was complaining of this in their review but I find it to be brilliant. If there is a 'serious' event that takes place I can always remove the SD card and copy that file to my computer. But... at least i don't have to remove the SD card every month or so to clear it out for the new data. I haven't had a chance to check out the night visions as our HOA turns all of the porch lights on automatically with a light sensor... but in my case, even with the porch light glaring in, the view is very acceptable. I actually think that this company could give 'R#*G' a run for their money. The quality is pretty great (especially at this price point), the subscription service is much lower... AND they allow you the option for local storage. Who would pay two or three times as much for the other brand... and then have to pay out a substantial amount of money over time in order to have access to your own video?! A bit of software upgrade and I'd give it 5 stars at twice this price... but as it is, I am not sure where I could have found a better value and still have my home 'protected'.

Muy buena opcion por el precio. Solo les recomiendo tener en consideración. 1. 4. Hay que tener paciencia con el envio. Se tardo mucho en llegar casi 10 d. El paquete llego en excelentes condiciones.

I purchased the Kasa KD110 Video Doorbell spring of 2023. It was a great purchase. I live in Southern Ontario, so the weather ranges from summer hot to winter cold. This device has worked great throughout it all. I had to replace the old typical door bell in our house. I pulled it all out. Ran a new power supply and hooked it all up. The door bell and the chime paired up immediately. Setup door bell using the Kasa app, got it connected to my wifi and was watching everything in front of my house in minutes. Installed a micro sd card and can review everything the camera sees. The image is decent for both daytime and nighttime viewing. The motion detection works well as does the person detection. Have had no issues with connecting to the camera from where ever I may be. The two-way audio works well enough. Would be great if they would add the ability to view the camera from a web browser on my computer.

Love you can use this product without paying. Great camera quality and love how it rings your phone like a call. Definitely recommend.

This doorbell is great for the price. The fact that it comes with the chime for the price is great. Also, there was probably a software update on the kasa app as you can save videos without a cloud service. You do need an sd card to do so. Quality of picture is great. Angle could be a bit better vertically as it doesn’t see the floor below it. Only bug i found so far the connection between the chime and the doorbell can take long sometimes. People will ring the doorbell and it wont ring inside. Whenever they press a second time, it will definitely ring inside. Installation is pretty straightforward but make sure all the apps are up to date. I had the kasa app for smart plugs and it wasn’t up to date. Because of that, the doorbell wasn’t connecting to the app. Good for an affordable doorbell and camera system.
