It's a piece of junk.
I cut one piece of cheese and the wire was limp. I had to tie the wire in a knot to make it tight enough to work.

Damaged out of the box
Package came in damaged although it was packaged well in a larger box with plenty of wrapping around it. No damage to the exterior box which makes me believe it was shipped out like this. Also the cutter does not sit into the channel correctly. This was to be a gift and will now need to look at another brand.

Broke after first use.
I used it once to slice sharp cheddar and the wire bent and stretched. This product is garbage, please don't waste your money.

Poor craftsmanship.
Wire does not align and there’s no way to adjust it except for bending the bar. However, it feels like it’s going to break by trying.

This is more for looks/appearances than for cutting cheese
Although this cutting board is quite photogenic, it does not cut cheese. Not soft or hard cheeses. It won't cut Cheddar or Munster. This is being returned. I'll just use a deli slicer or a knife. If you gift this, it would probably be a serving board for show at small gatherings rather than a cheese cutter.

It kinda works. I don't recommend.

Doesn't cut the cheese
It doesn't cut all the way through a block of cheese! The wire is too loose so I tried to tighten it by twisting it. Helped but still too loose. And the knob at the end, which holds the wire, hits the side of the board so the wire can not go all of the way through the cheese. Do they test the boards before they are shipped?

Poor workmanship.
Cutting wire does not line up with slot on cutting board. Cutting wire is also slack.
