Backed out Broken M6 Bolt in Block
Broke an M6 bolt off in the block over torquing water inlet for the thermostat housing. Used this to back it out - only needed the reverse drill bit. The joy of seeing the bolt back out was indescribable, lol.

Durable after multiple extractions
I got my hands on the Screw-Extractor and Left-Hand Drill-Bit Set, and it's been an absolute game-changer for my automotive repair work. The set's durability and performance have been nothing short of impressive, and it's a clear winner compared to the name-brand extractors available at major retail stores. The best part? It comes at a fraction of the cost. Using it to extract bolts from vehicles has been a breeze, thanks to the effective left-hand drill bits and screw extractor. It grips onto stubborn bolts firmly, making removal a quick and efficient process without causing any damage to the surrounding components. The affordability of this set is what initially caught my eye, and after putting it to the test, I can confidently say it's worth every penny and more. The quality of the materials used is top-notch, and even with frequent use, I haven't encountered any signs of wear or breakage. In the unlikely event that something does go wrong, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set. This product has earned a permanent place in my toolbox, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and cost-effective bolt extraction solution.

Cheap but get the job done
The reverse drill bits make all the difference and worked as expected. There are some possible quality control issues though. The first set I got was missing a bit and there was some slag fused to the larger extractor. Returned it and got a replacement that had no problems. The metal storage case is pretty cheaply made and required bending of some tabs to keep the smaller bits from sliding down and out of their spot.

I am now a believer...
...that they're crap. I used a punch to make an indent in the center of the broken bolt. I started with the small drill bit being careful after so many reports of it breaking. It did nothing but get dull and then it snapped in two. I went to the nest size up and same thing. I went to my tool chest and found a bit that would cut into the bolt. Time for the extractor. I couldn't get any of them to bite. The whole kit is apparently just for decoration. The nicest thing about the kit is the metal case, but even it has it's flaw. It's that little window that lets you see the bits and extractors. Opening the case is okay, but when closing it the bits all get hung up in the window so the case won't close. You have to close it carefully so this doesn't happen. Lesson learned. I threw the kit out.

Great value high quality set.
This is a great value high quality set. If you take your time and drill slowly you wonโt have troubles with broken bits. Automobile engine bolts are tough. If you take your time drilling out the pilot hole you wonโt have troubles.

Great value, does the job, marginal quality.
I think I'm very good about preventing rounded heads on fasteners, but even so, it still happens on occasion. I bought this kit to remove some M6 allen/socket head bolts that had seized in place on an engine pulley and they were a pretty soft grade 8.8 bolt. In hindsight, more penetrating lubricant and time or some heat and a hammer probably would have helped, but I was impatient that day. The reverse thread drill bit worked as good as I could have ever asked. I made sure to keep the drill bit going in straight, speed relatively low, and occasionally stopping to clean chips and lube the drill bit and it quickly cut through the bolt making very nice chips. The extractor on the other hand, leaves more to be desired. I tapped in the extractor with a hard plastic mallet and used an adjustable crescent wrench to turn. The bolt did finally make a "snap!" and came out, but two other things also happened. The extractor, surprisingly, is a somewhat soft metal metal and twisted a little during removal. I'm honestly surprised the extractor hasn't twisted apart yet, as it has twisted about 20ยฐ right where the extractor goes into the head of the bolt, and this is only after two bolts. In addition to twisting, the extractor bent about 2-3ยฐ. This is possibly due to me using a crescent wrench instead of a tapping wrench, but not nearly as big of an issue as the twisting part. All in all, it's still a pretty incredible value that you can get this entire set for so cheap. Definitely not what you want to get if you want something to last decades, but excellent for quick fix.

Buy it. It works and is well worth the price tag.
Life saver. Donโt know how long the drill bits will last but the extractor bits seem pretty good. I was able to remove a bolt that was broken off, and one that the head was stripped and I already tried slotting with a cut off wheel. Both on a 2009 Yamaha YFZ450R. *** HAMMER THE EXTRACTOR BIT IN, and hand crank with a crescent wrench or something similar. I also use this brand for bits and they are great.

The bomb.
This set saved my bacon more than once. Buy it. Donโt hesitate. I actually never used one of these sets before buying but not Iโm glad I did. Basically self explanatory. Use the left hand drill bit with Your drill in reverse to drill thru the problem bolt / fastener/ etc. then use the appropriate spiral bit, pound it in tight as you can with a hammer, then wrench it off. I was in a real tight spot with no room for a wrench to turn it out. I used my stud puller tool (sometimes called a stud extractor) to grab the square end of the spiral thing and turn it out. The only thing I wasnโt crazy about is they have a square end on them. Not a hex. So itโs tough to get a socket on. Have to use an open end wrench to grab it. Or a stud puller.

Very effective tool
Works like a charm. We disassembled an Ikea piece of furniture to move it but in the process broke off a few metallic post inside the wood parts. Used the smallest combo of drill and extractor and the broken studs were gone in seconds.

Alguien los pudo usar?
Super fragiles, usenlos con cuidado y en superficies que no comprometan el material, se barren con facilidad y no pude quitar nada

Good drill bits
Extremely sharp drill bits that seem to stay sharp too. The extractors donโt bite very well, and chewed up the steel studs instead of removing them. Ended up drilling the studs out.
