Perfect for what I needed them for, as they don't leave the fibers behind like normal cotton swabs. The size also makes them perfect for tight fits and small cracks or crevices. Will definitely be ordering more.

Cotton holds up well and doesn’t fall off like most others

These are great for detail cleaning. The foam tips are sharp enough to get in the little crevices like the edges and corners of an LCD screen, and as an added bonus they don't leave behind fibers like cotton.There are some downsides to using foam over cotton that you should be aware of. Foam absorbs a lot more liquid more readily so if you're using these as applicators for something like precision lubrication you have to practically drench the tip to get any. Same problem if you're trying to use some kind of cleaning solution to remove crusted residue from a lens. Secondly, these have a good deal more friction than cotton - they practically want to stick to the surface. This can be a good thing in certain cleaning scenarios, but it can be a major annoyance as well. These also tend to make it easier to leave streaks on the surface when you're cleaning.Bottom line is that these are good for scenarios where you want to avoid leaving fibers behind, and they're good at getting into the little crevices, but I wouldn't completely replace cotton tips with these.

I got these for cleaning off flux using alcohol after electronic-component soldering. The stick is made from solid plastic (i.e., not a hollow tube), so stiff enough to resist bending or breaking. When using alcohol, the adhesive held the foam tip securely throughout duration of work. When I tried acetone, the adhesive soften and the foam tip slid right off. However, if I put the foam tip back onto the stick, once the acetone evaporates, the adhesive reactivates and once again holds the foam securely. For some reason, the Amazon product photos led me to I think these would be longer than they are. These swabs are 3” long, which is the typical length of your standard Q-tip.These lint-free swaps do a good job with what I got them for. The pointed tip allows them to get into tight places. I only wish they were a bit longer, maybe 6” instead of 3”. Nevertheless, I think this is a good product, and very convenient to have around the house. I can think of many uses for them.

The media could not be loaded.  These foam cleaning swabs are great for getting into those hard to reach areas. They work great by themselves, with water, acetone, or even alcohol for deep cleaning.We use them on keyboards, remote controls, phones, and I even use them to clean my microscope.They are very durable and we have been able to use the same one over multiple times.A great value. 5 StarsThey do a really great job.

Brilliant specialty swabs. I use them on my keyboard and phone for a thorough clean. They're way more expensive per swab than your basic cotton swab, so I use them only when I absolutely need to. Great to have in your kit.RECOMMENDED.

Probably 1/4 the size of a Q-tip end with a handle about 2.5 inches. Ends are the pointed type, not the rounded ones as shown in some of the product description photos. Will work well for electronics cleaning/oiling. The microfiber should be quite superior as far as leaving lint and threads around like a cotton swab. Have good absorbency. Dipped one in alcohol and it stayed wet much longer than I expected. Dipped one in acetone, and within 5 seconds the tip came off, so despite the product description, acetone is a solvent for the glue used to hold on the tips.They say it is packed in a cleanroom, but then packaged in a heat sealed bag with no way to re-seal after cutting it open. Sometimes a regular cotton swab is NOT what you need and that's where these come in. Fine point, foam tip is very useful for very fine work.The description says they are compatible with alcohol and acetone. I have not tried them in acetone, but I see another reviewer said the tip came off with acetone. I'm sure I will be using them mostly with alcohol and non-solvent cleaners.The bag is sealed at the factory and not reusable. If you need these to be really clean, you'll need to find something to store them in.
