Cigar box
It's okay, but the spine is a little flat to pass as a real book. One problem is, it looks like somebody dropped it. The bottom corners are both crunched. The shipping box & product box are undamaged, so it likely happened at the manufacturer.Unrelated to that, the way the safe is mounted isn't recessed, so the book won't close all the way. Might pass muster between heavy books to keep it closed, but alone it just swings open to show the safe. Doesn't seem related to the damage. More of a design issue. Kind of defeats the purpose. When closed, even if you can't open it, the safe door is flimsy and you can see what's inside through the abundant crack on either side of the door. The whole thing is about as useful as cramming money between two books you already own.The combination is easy to change. I like the Beauty and the Beast aesthetic. The actual paper on the outside is a very nice touch.This has so much going for it, but the issues listed above ruin the whole thing.If they ever add a 4th digit to the code to make this at least a little harder to crack, recess the safe so the cover closes, come up with a safe design that actually closes so things can't fall out, and maybe add a couple creases to the spine like you'd see on real book, they'd really have something. Even at twice the price.As it is, it looks like a cigar box and is about as useful.

Looks like any other book on my bookcase. as it's just a 3 digit code, someone could take the time and crack it. could probably destroy it with a hammer, but if you're worried about that than buy something suited for that. If you just want to stash some cash or something like that on a bookcase, this works.

Muahahaha. My secret life is activated. Lol Jk but am I… love it for how discreet the lock is among other things… ha jk great for hiding well keeping away important items.
