Incomplete Information
Be careful with this product as it is entitled for bumper car repair and you immediate think its volume suffices bumper repair plus it only mention the length neglecting its diameter. The size is only more than a toothpick with longer length and no labels.

Delivered on time and packaged properly. Quality of material looks good. Labeling each bundle as to type of plastic would eliminate any guess work . The Black , Clear and Gray are obvious , not so easy with the others. Include labeling would be 5 star.

Appears to be a good product and it should work well.

As nearly all the reviews mention, labels are needed. I'd rather not have to look them up each time so I can see which type corresponds to each color. If you use the incorrect type, it tends to be easily flaked off since it didn't adhere. I ended up labeling the box myself. If using the correct type, the product works well. End result is still plastic, but until someone creates a product that molecularly transforms plastic into metal, this will have to suffice. The one picture claims the product is "non toxic" and has "no smell"... This is laughable considering you're melting various types of plastic; a chemically created polymer that continues to be made, greatly lowering production costs for many wealthy corporations, even though it's been proven for decades to be harmful to people and the environment in many, MANY ways. Don't worry though... those same corporations will purchase carbon credits so they can help "save the planet" (AKA get a free pass to pollute and poison the population). What I was trying to to say, before spontaneously ranting, is that it definitely smells. I mean, the whole point is to melt (weld? Ha!) plastic! It's just not going to be safe to breath in. I personally wear a respirator. Maybe they can get away with that particular claim because, while still in the box, they obviously don't produce any harmful smoke. ...Yet. Plastic being an inferior material is not the seller's fault, so the product gets 4 stars (-1 for lack of labeling). You don't need an actual "plastic welder" to use. Any heating product will work as long as you can make contact with plastic. A soldering iron works perfectly and is able to fit in tighter places.

I never thought of plastic welding until I ran across it while surfing on Amazon. Now I have used it a number of times. I have even ordered the extra rods for different types of plastic. This is a must for around the house or shop or even as a hobby. I recommend it highly Tom others.
