Great Inexpensive Case
This is a nice looking case. I tried this case on a dummy Samsung S8 and it felt good. Not too bulky but has a nice lip on the top and bottom. The sides are raised slightly also. I wasn't able to test the edge functions as it was a dummy phone. When I sat the phone down on the counter it was raised slightly. Now this case is not a hard cover and it's quite flexible. The corners have tiny air pockets to absorb the shock from accidental drops. It fits quite well on the dummy S8 with all the cut outs properly done. It's definitely worth getting for $1.99(as of 4/11/17).*Update* 04/20/17I received my phone yesterday and I must admit it the case feels good. I feel confident in holding the phone. The one thing I like and it worries me also is the sides of the case. When holding the case the sides are drawn in on the sides giving the top corners and bottom corners more protection. Now the case is designed I see more now, to fit comfortably in your hand hence the reason it doesnt feel bulky. It just worries me if my son drops it on the side would it be enough protection. Ah the joys of being a parent but anyways great feeling case, slides in and out of my pocket easily and by the way don't get a full coverage screen protector it will not work with this case. Make sure you get a case friendly screen protector instead. Oh and yes the edge apps works as it should with case on.

Satisfied
Fits perfectly to my phone and the side buttons stick out a little further than my old case. Much easier to find and use.

Cheap case that does the job
Snug fit and well designed. Offers just the basic protection. Doesn't protect the phone in case of falls - there is no air gap between the case and the phone edge, as you will find in Spigen cases, to cushion the fall. This just has the plastic layer to absorb the impact.Raised edges on the top and bottom protect the screen when the phone is placed face down on a table. The left and right edges are tapered to conform to the curved edges of the display.Tactility of the power button is non-existent and in other buttons it is reduced - I attribute the plasticky (as opposed to rubbery) feel of the material to this. There are enough contours to the shape to offer some grip when holding, but the texture itself is pretty slippery. If you need some basic protection for your old phone (no more software updates for S8), you can't go wrong with this affordable case.

Sometimes it's worth the few extra dollars.
To start off with, when I saw the interior honeycomb pattern, I thought it was actually molded on the inside for shock absorption. And with them highlighting the inside that you'll never see, I'm sure that was their intent. The pattern is just printed on the inside and serves no purpose. Just irks me that they did that. As far as the case though, it's decent for the price. My main issue is that the buttons and the back sides are fairly sharp and can dig into your hands and fingers. The case does look nice and the carbon fiber looking insert looks better than most fake carbon fiber patterns. Mine did come with a decent sized scratch on the back but I'm sure I just got unlucky as this doesn't seem like it's a second or b stock. As I was saying earlier though, spending the $10 for the spigen version of this is well worth it. It's called the Rugged Armor and it's just a better designed case with nice rounded corners and smooth edges and actual shock absorbing pockets on the inside. Also, the cutout in the back for the camera and fingerprint sensor is tapered to make it easier to fully access the fingerprint sensor. The JEtech one isn't and it's sometimes hard to get your fingertip on the sensor completely. The Spigen version is just a better case in all aspects and it's still a good deal at even at its current price of $10, especially when considering it's to protect something so expensive and fragile. I'm only comparing these cases as they seem to be direct competitors and my decision was between these two. I'm sure others will be choosing between them as well. Hopefully my review helps with your decision.
