I always have Otterbox-like cases on my devices because I’m rough with them and I’m clumsy at times. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find a rugged band that fits my huge wrists. This one does, and I still have 3 holes left on the band. So if you have a big wrist, this is the one for you. If your wrist is small, you might need to cut the band down some, but that should be easy to do with a new razor blade. Second, the edge of the band comes above the plane of the screen, so you won’t bang your watch face on a flat surface (still gotta be careful about pointed hazards, though). The crown is exposed, and it moves just fine. The buttons are covered and they work great even in the case. There’s holes for the speaker and mic, but they have some form of mesh on the larger one, so no worries there. It’s comfortable and it looks cool. Looks rugged, but not overtly bulky. It’s easy to clean even when it gets grimy, I use water, a toothbrush, and 91% rubbing alcohol for the tough grime. The brush gets in all the nooks and crannies. So if you’re like me, don’t let the price stop you from purchasing this band. My husband has thanked me so much for this watch band that it was well worth it. He loves how it looks and he’s not typically the kind of guy who comments on something’s appearance. This watch band is nice enough for his management position at his oil company. But also not so nice that I’ll be mad if it gets messed up while he’s helping on a compressor. I think it’s nice it can check both of those boxes. He had it on in under a minute. So is easy to use and install. We went sand sledding in west Texas and his watch didn’t break although it was covered in sand.
