I just spent almost $6 EACH for two similar push-to-fit couplers at my local big-box store. And they didn't hold. Check the attached pics; they have plastic "barbs" that don't really grip the piping. Whereas these have metal barbs like sharp teeth, and furthermore they also easily retract if you ever need to remove the fittings. The difference is obvious and while this product is smaller and less substantial than the big-box ones, the end result matters more than first impressions. Be aware that all such connectors are finicky. Use a real pipe cutter, (not a hacksaw, diagonal cutters, or a razor knife), and make sure there's no burrs. There's O-rings deeper inside there that do the actual sealing, so ensure your piping isn't deformed and also that it's seated against the internal stop. Since, as i noted the teeth easily retract, you can confidently practice before finalizing the job. Just push the outer ring in towards the body and the pipe will come out... you don't even need a tool. Just don't, obviously, do that when it's pressurized. It was a bummer to wait three days for an emergency repair but in the end, worth it because i have more confidence this repair will hold a while. And i've got three spares for the next emergency, for less cost than one lousy coupler at my local hardware store. TBH it's a chintzy, cheesy plastic thing. I don't care. It did me five stars worth of good.

zjxed 3/16" OD Push-to-Connect Pneumatic Quick Connector (Straight) These worked exactly as they should. Installation was quick and simple, and the fittings sealed on the first try with no leaks. They feel well made and held the airline securely once connected. I used them to repair the airline on my Infiniti’s air suspension system, and they got everything back up and running again without any issues. Push-to-connect fittings like these make repairs much easier compared to messing with clamps or more complicated connectors. These are great, one of them showed up smashed into about a thousand little pieces but the rest of them are fine and we didn't need all of them so we never contacted Amazon but I guess that got smashed and shipping, luckily only one was broken but these are really nice other than somebody probably stepped on The package or who knows what happened. I used to work for a shipping company so I get what goes on behind the scenes but it could have been packed better in that probably would have kept it from being obliterated but the other ones that showed up work fine and they're great so we're overall very happy

These 1/8” to 1/4” splice connector adapters were the ‘problem solver’ solution I needed to take care of my particular air suspension issue. They met or exceeded OEM quality & fit as described by the manufacturer. The splice connector adapter allowed for a leak free connection between the OEM line and my system fill point. The installation of these splice adapters is pretty straightforward if care is used to ‘straight cut’ & clean connection points & prevent contamination at those points. These splice adapters solved my suspension leak and saved me $$ !

The connectors were just what I needed to go from 6mm (15/64) to 8mm (5/16)

Bought these to make a quickswap system for feeding from different filament dryers when not using my AMS system. It works well for that purpose and grabs 2mm ID PTFE tubing easily. Disconnecting is also smooth and has never presented any issues. My one issue is that I wish it were a bit shorter. It often takes one or two tries to get filament to move from the first tube to the one on the other side which i suspect is due to the tubing following the natural curve it has following insertion.. Once filament is fed through though I've had no issues.
