Why I ordered this item: My laptop is stuck with an old 16GB kit and Chrome eats it alive with like 30 tabs open. I wanted more headroom for VMs and general multitasking. Likes: * Installed easy, computer booted right up and saw the full 32GB in the BIOS. * Speeds are zippy. I ran a few benchmark tests after install and my scores jumped up a good amount. * It runs XMP fine on my board, didn't have to mess with timings or anything. * No heat spreader on these, just bare green PCBs. Kind of a plain look but they fit in my laptop's memory slots perfectly. * Price for 32GB of DDR5 is pretty great right now. No likes: * The label on the stick is tiny and hard to read if you ever need to double check part numbers. * The timings aren't the snappiest out there. If your motherboard supports faster kits you might notice a difference in really demanding stuff. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: This is a simple memory upgrade that got my system feeling less jacked up under heavy loads. Chrome with 30 tabs and a VM running in the background doesn't choke my machine anymore.

DDR5 So-Dimm. 32gb. From crucial and it uses micron chips and is absolutely bulletproof when it comes to ram. Passed all ram tests that were ran twice. Took all of 10 minutes to install this ram into a brand new Asus 2022 M16 gaming laptop that was only running 16gb so it needed it. Its crazy fast, dual channel stock, and works perfectly as expected. Of course ram is spendy nowadays but that is to be expected as every component is either short on stock, hampered by logistical nightmares of shipping/sourcing/etc, or just scalpers seeing a hole to exploit so they can turn a quick buck by buying up all the stock then raising the prices 25-50% and selling it to everyone that needs it because guess what? Stocks out, and their stock is in, and if you need the item youre forced to pay that amount or suffer which is ridiculous. Anyways, get this ram before it sells out and youre forced to pay 1.5X or more than msrp ( and the price alone has jumped 20% since i bought it a week or two ago which is nuts already ) TL;DR - Fantastic Ram, Great for those new kick butt Gaming laptops like the Asus 2022 M16 i just got that runs the alder lake chipset that runs ddr5 and makes use of the ram. If you need an upgrade, this is probably your best shot right now. *** General Warnings *** - CL40. Most "good" DDR4 sticks are around CL18 or CL20, or the "clock timing." It is on the slower side, but the DDR5 technology, and pretty high clock speeds def will make up for it. - RAM limits. Most modern laptops at the moment (unless you're buying a thousands of dollars one), have limits to the amount of RAM that can be upgraded, so be sure to check on that to ensure the capacity you are purchasing does not exceed the maximum supported by your laptop. - Packaging. The ram stick comes in a plastic box that keeps it isolated, but still very vulnerable to damage, be very cautious when handling as to not step, drop, or put too much pressure on it in any way. *** Conclusion *** Having it on my system feels extremely nice, whether you buy the 16gb or 32gb model, make sure to choose the one that is best for your system. As DDR5 is still rather new, especially for laptops, the choices will widen up for the RAM sticks available, but for now, these are the best for their price and punch!

Me arriesgue comprando la de 32 gb a pesar de que según las especificaciones de mi laptop (Dell G15 5525) solo admiten como máximo 32 gb en configuración 2 x 16 gb, lo probé y funciona de maravilla, es la mejor compra que he hecho, solo hay que tener cuidado al momento de desarmar tu laptop, yo en el proceso la dañe, procura que lo haga alguien experto, por cualquier otra cosa es excelente, lo volvería a comprar. 😻
