Ho Stevie! Scooter/Moped/eBike Surfboard Rack - Easy Install for Most Scooters - Less Gas, Easy Parking - for Surf Boards 8 Feet or Shorter

Worked great after a few modifications. Ended up drilling some new holes in the top plate and used the existing hardware from my cargo rack instead on the bolts and bottom plate it came with. I cut 30mm off the top ends of the arms so the board sits just a bit closer to the bike. And I drilled an 8mm hole through the arms and the slots they slide into so I could use a 70mm quick-detaching pin I found instead of locking them with the four bolts that tighten down the slots. You have to really crank those four bolts hard to keep the arms secure, and even then I wasn’t sure I trusted them to keep the arms from wiggling out. Mounting the arms takes ten seconds now with the 8x70mm pin which was the perfect length and locks the arms at the ideal angles for my board. Rode at speeds up to 60mph and nothings failed yet. I wish the bungees were adjustable because they’re not nearly as tight as I’d like, but hooking them to my cargo rack keeps them tight enough. The whole rack is aluminum, so fairly easy to machine, but it does flex and bounce a little. All and all I’m happy with it.

Great product, has been working very well I use it to go kitesurfing. I have a motorcycle which has no luggage rack unlike scooters which this is meant for so I knew buying this I was going to have to modify the thing to fit. If you have a few tools and a dremel it can be done, I had to cut the mounting plates to fit and slightly shave the main plate and also re-tap the holes for the bolts but it worked and is still very solid, I've been using it all week. For smaller boards I recommend getting a ratchet strap also because the bungees werent doing anything. Again I knew I was going to have to modify this to work, but overall it is built very well, easy to take arms on and off but I have semi permanently mounted the plate to the bike. Parking is now a breeze which was the whole point. If you have a scooter you could mount this in 5 mins. I dont notice any drag on the bike with this on either, highly reccomend.

The product itself is great, unfortunately, the tools included to assemble the rack are small and hard to use. Once the rack was on the moped, it worked great.

I've had good previous experience with Ho Stevie! items in the past but I did see some of the reviews talking about missing/faulty parts. I thought, " I've never had issues do lets give it a try..." I guess I jixed myself. -My package arrived in great shape and no damage. -My rack bars where nice and neat and no damage. Perfect! I'm ready to mount. Negative!!! No bolts and no allen key. What a waste of time and money. I sent for a replacement BUT now I need to wait about a week to roll the dice again with the next package. No Stevie!! Check your items before you send it. It's not a sealed package so anyone in the warehouse can easily check it. Too much to ask I guess.

Very affordable and durable surf rack. Perfect for anyone that lives in Hawaii or those Socal surf towns. Really convenient when it comes to parking as we all know how hard it is to find parking in some surf towns. Surf rack works amazing, easy to install and holds the board in there nice and tight. Make sure you tighten the bolts on the arms all the way until you can’t anymore otherwise they may move. Thanks Ho Stevie!

Had to modify it with a steel crossbar. It kept drooping out of angle after riding

Parking at the beach is hard these days! Surf rack on the scooter changed the game, and the quality of this one is the best. I've had mine for at least 4 years and it's good as new! Just make sure you tighten up those screws good so the legs don't fall straight down and your board falls off (trust me on this)
