The best ice packs
Love these ice packs. Last so long, keeping everything ice cold. They can be thick or thin depending on how you store them. Versatile and high quality.

Good and affordable
Bought these ice packs because i was looking for something have duty that would last when we go on road trips or when we have parties around the house that way we wouldnt have to keep buying ice. The packs work great and when used with a good cooler they have kept things cold for multiple days without having to refreeze them. These were a fraction of the price of name brand ones and have been worth every penny.

Best ice pack I've ever used
Excellent reusable cooler ice packs. They're quite affordable, the pouch is very thick and I'm not worried about punctures. I was slightly hesitant about them being user fillable, but it's a very straightforward, mess free process that took only a few minutes. They have not leaked once and I've used them for grocery runs, fishing trips, going out to kids baseball games etc. I plan on stocking up on different sizes for lunchboxes etc.

After several test, now happy with product
Shock cooler test (3) Test #1 using a Coleman 45quart 3day ice chest (not the best, but definitely not the cheapest) After preparing and freezing packs for 48+hrs (as required). Placed lrg pack on bottom, layered with thin towel. Placed room temp/warm drinks ontop and one more pack ontop of drinks (@20 can sodas & bottle waters). (since each pack is equivalent to 6LBS of ice, I knew, with my ice experience in this ice chest, after a good 3 hours, my drinks will be cold enough to drink). Well after 3 hours, not one drink was cold enough to drink. They were cooler then warm/room temp from when I put them in, just not cold enough for us to drink. After 8 hours I got home and checked drinks. Just a few cans on bottom of ice chest were cold enough to drink. Next test will be used with pre chilled drinks and perhaps pre chilling my ice chest left outside all day in 90°+ heat. If that don't safice then I got one more test to try. Test #2 10am pre chilled ice chest, (frozen 2 liter, frozen 1/2 Gal milk and a few ice packs) for 1hr. Ice chest was cold. 11am put in drinks, warm can sodas and bottled water, and 2 lrg cooler shocks (this time I placed cooler shock upright between water and cans) i, then placed ice chest outside in direct sunlight. 87° high today 1pm 2hrs later and all drinks are still room temp. Cooler shock still frozen. 3pm and some of the drinks are Barley starting to get cold. Very few are cold enough to drink. Far from freezing any drinks. 8pm and drink barely somewhat cooler. Still not as cold as it would have been with ice. Pretty much both ice pack are no longer frozen. Unsatisfied. I am trying to avoid buying any ice. Hmmm am I doing something wrong? Did I get a bad batch? I really want this to work as stated.I'll give it one more test. . Perhaps pre chill my drinks and add the 3rd shock cooler. Test #3 9am loaded ice chest with chilled drinks (can sodas and bottled water). (This time I did not pre chill the ice chest, I figured the chilled drinks will do just that) This time I added 3lrg packs. Placed ice chest in direct sunlight. 96° high today. 1pm now 4hrs out and drinks are still very cold. Very drinkable. All 3 Cooler shocks still frozen. So far so good. 3pm now 6hrs out. Drinks are still very cold. All 3 cooler shocks still frozen. 5pm now 8hrs out. Drinks are still very cold. All 3 cooler shocks still frozen. I am now impressed. 8pm 11hrs out. Drinks still very cold. All 3 cooler shocks are now 50% thawed out. I will end my test here. Summury After putting warm/room temp drinks into ice chest along with 2 lrg pack, as instructions indicated to do so to get 1/2 days use, other reviews indicated this worked for them but this method did not work for me. Drinks never got cold enough to drink. Yes, I understand putting in none chilled drinks will make the ice packs work that much harder. What did work for me was to insert chilled drinks and 3lrg cooler shocks. After 10+hrs., Leaving ice cheat a day in direct sunlight, Drinks are still very cold. I am now satisfied with my purchase. Happy to know I do not have to buy ice for what I need it for. Thumbs up for me.

Quality control review
Very seldomly I give my opinionated quality control review: I am venturing in my new “limbers” (criolle fruit icy like the Italian Ice frozen desserts in a cup) and needed specifically an item that can keep the temperature as in a freezer. I must comment this ice packs are SOoo great that it not only keeps my “limbers” a whole day stacked in a cooler back pack, but overnight over 24 hrs with a very minimum slight liquid meltdown in blazing high temperatures over 110 F. It’s gone so reliably well that my sales demand increased! I recently made my second order to meet my products excellent delivery demands. *Cooler Shock Reusable Ice packs are kept in my freezers button drawer*

Would buy again. Lasts a long time
These work great. Stay cold up to 48 hours. They are kind of bulky if you have limited space, but they are tough. Used them for 2 years without issues. Was able to thaw them over winter and refreeze in the summer without issues or leaks. Wipe clean

Excellent ice retention
I couldn't be more impressed. Before Memorial Day weekend at the lake, I took the time to properly prep my cooler by pre-chilling the cooler and loading it with cold drinks, ice and these ice packs. The performance was outstanding. After an entire holiday weekend of opening and closing the lid, sitting outside in warm weather, and keeping food and drinks cold for the family, the cooler still had plenty of ice remaining. The moment that really sold me came at the end of the weekend when I found one of the leftover Capri Suns frozen solid. That was several days after packing the cooler. You will get positive results if you're willing to prep the cooler correctly, use it as intended and use these ice packs! Excellent ice retention, exactly what I was hoping for when I bought it. Very impressed and highly recommended.

Cooler Shock!
I bought these after a friend HIGHLY recommended them. He's been using them for a few years (pretty much weekly, plus a few beach runs and hunting trips). I bought a new cooler and he reminded me of them so I picked a few up in anticipation of some outings this spring/summer. I bought a 3 pack of Large and two 4 packs of Mediums as I have a variety of ice chest sizes (20qt rotomolded, 30qt soft, 100qt Coleman 5 day). I usually use the 30qt (BYOB parties), but typically a few times a year take them all for several day outings. The large ones don't fit well (or at all) in 30qt or less. It will fit in the 30qt, but will be much more of a headache to work around. It took me about 30-45 min to fill all 11 packs (measuring water, sealing, shaking, all the instructed good stuff). I didn't have any issues sealing these packages. Some reviewers had issues tightening down the lid all the way. After installing a few, it seems like it could be related to pressing the rubber plug so it was flush with (or very slightly recessed in) the fill port. I didn't have any issues screwing the cap down all the way, but I suppose I have fairly decent hand strength. The "Large" size were a bit more of a pain to fill than the medium Cooler Shock's. After I filled the first one, sealed it, and shook it, I could feel undissolved powder on the bottom edge of the pack. This was NOT an issue I noticed with the mediums which seemed to dissolve quickly on their own. To solve this, before removing the lid, shake the package so all the powder goes toward the spout, fold the pack so the edges are touching (dont crease it or anything, gripping the shorter edges together so there is a bend in the middle provides enough resistance to keep the powder from washing to the opposite side). Then, remove the lid, begin filling, and release the bottom edge after the folded pack begins to appear mostly full, allowing the rest of the pack to fill. Doing this seems to allow the powder to dissolve more fully. The Large packs will stay colder longer as it's a more solid block of ice than the Mediums, but use what's appropriate for the cooler size. Ice Chest TIPS! Ice packs like these work fine alone, but I've found it's better to add cold water (and potentially some ice) to your cooler to more quickly and efficiently transfer the cold from the ice packs to your cooler's contents. A full cooler holds lower temperatures for longer (and water takes up space between products), especially if it there's constant traffic in and out. Place the packs between the products in your ice chest, and NOT against the walls. Placing the cooler pack against the walls of your cooler transfers more of its cooling potential to the wall of the cooler instead of first radiating through the products. Pre chill your goods: Freeze what you can if you're going to be out for a few days or more. Refrigerate everything else for 8-12 hours before. You want your cooler to KEEP things cold, not waste a bunch of the cooling capacity on cooling room temperature products down. Pre chill your cooler with ice and water 8+ hours before you fill it (I typically do this the night before with some lunch size ice packs we've collected over the years, filling the cooler with enough water to fully submerge the ice packs.. about 2-3" of water). Many use this method with what they call "sacrificial ice" .. but the water is usually still ice cold, so I just dry off the ice packs, return them to the freezer and stock the cooler with the few inches of water still in there. "...But these are supposed to save you money on ice!" I intend to continue to use ice and water with these packs (less water / more ice when it needs to stay colder longer), but this should cut WAY DOWN on the amount if ice I use in my ice chest. Typically I'll stop at the grocery store or gas station for a few bags of ice to toss in the cooler before headed out to my destination, but now I can use an ice tray or two from our freezer with a few Cooler Shock packs for the majority of my outings. I'll continue to play with it and amend this accordingly.

Injury hazard on the sharp edges near the opening or spout
The cooler bag has a design flaw in that the edges close to the spout or opening are very sharp and a sharp edge cut my arl when I was carrying it. The cooling agent may be effective, but the overall product does not work well if it cannot be handled safely!

Long lasting, great for travelling with
On a recent trip, we needed to pack goat milk in our checked luggage for our 2 year old. I packed the milk with 3 Cooler Shock ice packs and hoped the milk would still be good when we got to our destination. We left at 5.30am and arrived around 3.30pm and the milk was still cool and in good condition. These Cooler packs were excellent, doing exactly what we had hoped they would!
