It works; buy a huge bottle, repeated treatments likely needed
This product works. Read the directions and follow them. Buy the biggest bottle for sale because you will need repeated sessions on areas because of the varying life stages of bed bugs, their high, reproductive rates and the human factor that strays can be hiding out without a meal for months in areas or in spots that weren’t treated. Professionals will ask you to remove everything from your house that can’t survive extreme heat and seal these things in tightly sealed plastic bags while they are away from your home and they will heat your home with special equipment that will heat your home interior to a heat level that nothing much can survive. The alternative to that is the opposite; they can brings in equipment to get your inside temperature to as close to freezing as possible. Even for professionals this can be a war, not a battle. Sometimes they may pump a bed bug killing foam into the area behind your walls. So, for the home owning and living warrior, educate yourself watching a lot of you tube videos on the subject and reading public health publications on the topic, arm yourself with this treatment, lots of giant ziploc bags or vacuum seal bags and prepare to put everything that can’t be zip-locked away for months into a hot dryer for at least 20 minutes. Oh yeah, this stuff works on furniture and mattresses, but will likely require multiple treatments, so save yourself some money and buy the 64 oz bottle the first time you buy.

Great product, but my last one arrived with a broken lid
I've bought this a few times over the years now, and this last time it arrived horrible packed. This bottle, no plastic covering it, and one little piece of brown paper inside a fairly large box. I didn't notice that the lid was broken and spilling out crystals until I had brought it inside - where my cats were quick to notice!! I quickly moved the box back outside and swept up the few crystals that escaped in the house. Luckily I still had the bottle from my previous order so I used the lid from that one on the new bottle after I poured the remaining escaped crystals in from the shipping box. As for the product, I like it enough to keep it on hand. It really does the job! I have a very old tree in my front yard that found my sewer line. If I forget to use this about twice a year, I end up needing to get a plumber out to rod the pipes (and then I have a huge disgusting mess to clean up inside, and a large bill to pay).

Been using it for two years, and (fingers-crossed) still works.
We have roots sneaking into our sewer line about 60' from our house. After two backups and clean-outs in 10 years, I started using preventive root killers. I switched to this one because I read some environmental "cons" about products with copper sulfate. This is a nice, economical size. I have used it every 2-3 months for a couple of years, and so far, so good.

Poor value,
I used this to treat some French drains under my patio that run out underneath my yard. Grass roots often clog these up and they are breeding grounds for mosquitos if the water is not moving through them. I figured I would give this a try and see how it does. First off, it's a basic formula of 90% rock salt with the remaining 10% being citric acid (like concentrated lemon juice), sodium lauryl sulfate (soap), and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). All of these are household ingredients or easily purchased from a grocery store. The foaming is occurring from the reaction between the baking soda and the citric acid when hydrated with water. In other words, you can make a lot of this on your own for a lot less than this product costs. However, it also explains why this formula does not harm trees - there are no enzymes or anything, the high salt concentration will just dehydrate roots and kill them without harming the tree itself. Would it be enough to kill large roots in a pipe? I do not believe it would, but it probably would help as a protective agent to keep smaller roots from growing larger over time (as long as you use the product regularly). As for how well it worked on my drains, the foaming was minimal in the pipes and did not expand enough to fill the entire pipe, so I expect it just cleaned the bottom of the pipe of some dirt/grime buildup. Maybe it will help with mosquitos in there, but I doubt it. IF it works, I will just buy a 50lb bag of rock salt for $10 and mix in some anhydrous citric acid, baking soda, and a little bit of soap. That would be 50 treatments for $20 vs 10 treatments for $30.

This is the LAST time I buy this!!!!!!
This works well but, it does make me cough (and choke) when I'm using it - even when wearing a mask. I can't imagine how bad this would be without one. It does not foam - at least I don't wait around to see if it will. It does the job, but so well, it killed half of my Japanese maple. ( I suspected this was causing the root issue - now I know for sure.) In light of all this, I will continue to use this product. I'm sure it's saved me from a big plumber's bill. Update: This is the second time I've experienced this product delivered where the lid has opened and the product is everywhere. They do nothing to ensure this will not happen. As a result, UPS had to tape the bottom of the delivery box to keep the granules and fine powder from leaking out. Who knows how much was lost before they did that! I had 6 other items in the delivery and all are covered with the powder residue - including a stuffed-animal pet toy that is coated with it as well. (Dogs tend to use their mouths to play with toys - so especially not good.) I had about a cup of the granules in the bottom of the box, not to mention all over my kitchen floor and counter top.

Highly Effective and Easy to Use!
I used Green Gobbler Foaming Root Killer to deal with tree roots in our sewer line, and it worked exactly as promised. The foaming action really helps it reach all areas of the pipe, and I noticed a big improvement in drainage after just one treatment. I also appreciate that it’s copper sulfate-free and safe for both pipes and septic systems. With four uses in one container, it’s a great value. Definitely recommend for anyone dealing with root issues!

Sadly the product was spilled in the box when it arrived. Be careful if you don't want to have the chemicals on your hands. I couldn't get a refund either...
