LOVE MY TIMEX!
I always heard growing up in the 80's, "Timex takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin!"But I always got knock off el-cheapo versions (in hindsight VERY smart on behalf of my mom) and they always broke at the band where the pin connects, and then the illumination which was typically a half lit dull yellow incandescent looking thing- would stop working - and I'd lose them or they'd break permanently. We're talking about $3.99-$8.99 kids watches from K-Mart here after all. After I got older and had money to buy my own Timex, but what did I do? Started with a Movado & fell in love with Swiss made Chronograph Quartz movement watches. 92 Rolex Daytona through the 2020 Daytona. A Jacob in the early part of the 21st century. A half dozen Patek Phillipe & 2 Richard Mille. A that literally cost more than my parents house. While I still have a very expensive and admirable collection (kept safely in a vault that would take the crew from The Italian Job to get at, get in- getting it out of my house would present their biggest problem. So despite all the time pieces of 50K to 600K (except my Movados, they're all $1000 or less. In fact my favorite is the 1st one I got at TJ max for $179. It is sold on here and on Movado's own site for $500-1500, but it's not worth that much, trust me. It's the museum classic which made Movado. A nothing nobody brand into a stunning watch for a fraction of a percent of a Patek, and even the most expensive Movado is still less than 5% of the cost of a Rolex. A 48,000 dollar Rolex. So my review of this watch: I never got my Timex as a kid, and strayed away to the moon on my watch collection, but I needed a digital watch that's waterproof, sporty, has chronograph and alarms and timers indiglo and all the cool stuff a tough little watch has. This one is better than I have been expecting all these years. Lol I know it sounds silly but I wear my Timex now and leave the trays of mansions and Ferrari's and Range Rovers, Bimmers & Audis, Rolls Royce's and Mercedes G-wagon AMG V12 898hp w/1576ft-lbs of torque, 0-60 in 3.1 seconds- Yeah, that is the kind of $ in watches- but they are all 100% flawless. A perpetual investment. I have jewelers offering me as much as I paid or more - considering the inflation - i wouldn't actually make $ but it would seem as though I had - and I would have it to use for the bigger heated pool or whatever. The next condo in Breckenridge or Jackson Hole.Where I'll be sporting my Timex ironman!! ⌚😀My Fav feature i discovered this morning - ok so last week i pressed down and held the indiglo button for like 5 or 10 seconds. It went beep beep. or maybe just one beep ... it displayed a crescent 🌙 moon. Cool! But... what does it do? So I decided I'd read the instructions - it's only been a month or so - might as well. They're not instructions, just a warranty and some other information/disclaimers etc., in 500 different languages.Okay, so I guess I won't be doing that! And I just forgot about it.Then this morning I realized that with it on, the indiglo would come on regardless of the buttons I pressed. So it's a little indiglo lock on and of hidden secret 🤫.Awesome though.I have alarms set for 0530 & 17:30 so my pup knows it's his breakfast and dinner time. And the 3rd is for my weekend nap WHICH I am missing right now! Thanks guys... JKBUT seriously, great watch, comfortable band, easy to figure out how to make everything work, and set to your liking. And it's only 40 or 50 Bucks. Sweet! Good -- No, Great deal.Oh and it doesn't tick, but I have been inadvertently giving it a "lickin" and it still digits? is that a word? KEEPS ON BEEPING (But you can shut that off same with the chime for the top of the hour that's obnoxious)Get Yours! 👍🏽

Functional and great look!
This is my third watch I’ve had in the last 10 years. I bought my first one in 2014 when I was doing triathlons. My second one just died after surfing/working in a hospital with it for the last 3-4 years. I could of just changed the battery but for $40 and it will last, I thought hmmm let’s just get a new one.No complaints! Shipping arrived in 2 days, and the price can’t be beat. If you are looking for a simple watch to wear and not having to worry about getting it messed up this is it! I had a garmin 410xt that I had to charge etc but this watch is extremely convenient and comfortable. High recommend!

Good every day watch you don't worry about nicking or scratching
I am on my second one of these watches. I replaced the battery once in the old one, the it died again. I am guessing 2 to 3 years for 2 batteries. The band was showing some cracks like it was about to go, so instead of getting another battery & a new band I opted to order the new watch for about twice the price. I hope this one last as long as the old one. For a beat around everyday watch they seem to work well.

It's a medium-large sized timex ironman watch
Stylistically this is basically just a new version of the (retired?) classic 50, which is what I was hoping for. Classic 100 is kind of big and ugly, classic 30 is too small, this one is just right. The indiglo is a fairly dim blue, so you may or may not like that.

Love the watch
I am very happy with this version of the Iron man Classic. I have had earlier versions which were good except that the buttons were too sensitive and the modes would constantly get changed with the slightest hand movement. Even during sleep !! So I just gave up on them. I switched back to watches with the hand dials. Then I switched to GSHOCKS which I really liked except they were small to try and read. I finally decided to try this watch out. I'm glad I did. The buttons are not sensitive,,,,thank god !!!!! And Timex digitals are a lot easier to read than most Casios. I recommend this model....especially to others who were bothered by the sensitive buttons on other versions. Also, the band has a very good keeper on the end and it does not keep slipping off !!

PERFECT
Watch is light weight. Has a good feel on the wrist and easy to read during the day and easy to read with the indigo back light at night. I have large wrists and this size is good. For smaller people it might be to large. The functions work well and its water tight. Its durable and keeps on ticking.

Good BUT, and reasonably priced
An excellent replacement for an old Timex 1440 digital sport watch. Much improved button designs and chronometer functions. But such a shame -- the Start/Split button stopped working after a year or so.
