SmartBones Rawhide-Free Dog Bones, Made With Real Chicken

Great for tiny dogs. These are very small so make sure your dog is small.

There is a weird sizing problem here: "Mini" or "Small"? If you select the "Small" box, you get a picture of a bag labeled "16 Small" -- but the bag we received is labeled "16 Mini", and contains Mini (2.5", .6oz), not Small (5", 1.8oz) SmartBones! So, after we received them, I checked the reviews on this point. Sure enough, a couple of 2-star reviews alluded to this size problem, but they were not explicit about the details. After studying the problem, I am convinced that SmartBones do not even sell a bag of "16 Small" - only a bag of "6 Small" (which makes some sense, as the Small bones are ~2x the length and ~3x the weight of the Mini bones). So where did they get a photo of a bag labeled "16 Small"?! It's just weird; the description should be fixed -- and I would love to know how they got a photo of a non-existent product! It would also be nice to get a bag of the Small chicken SmartBones (if they exist).

My dog loves these bones and chews them up in minutes. They’re on the smaller side for him and he’s only about 15lbs. He’s a small dog so if you have a dog 25+ lbs these will not be too satisfying. The bones don’t last that long but seem to be enjoyable for the dog. He’s 4 months old and has never had diarrhea after eating these. Some reviews mentioned this as a side effect but it could depend on the dog or how many bones they’re being given. I only give my dog one bone each day or every other day, depending.

my dogs love these smart bones. They will do all kinds of tricks to get a bone. The last order I received of cat/dog food and treats; I had opened the box and left it in the living room with the cat food and the smart bones I had ordered. I had to leave so didn't really think about leaving the box where dogs could get into. When, I came home the bot of mini 16pk had been open with only 6 bones left. The package looked like it had been open with a chainsaw, it had several cuts on the package; Boy they had to work hard to get into the package, but somehow, they managed to get it open and to eat more than half of the bag. So, I would recommend to not leave them unsupervised as they may just not be there when you come back.
