Booku Binder Wire Binding Machine (Supplied with 100 Black Wires)

Great item and brilliant service from the seller who I contacted with a query.Small amount of damage on the bit that collects the punched out paper/card, but doesn't affect the use, so not worth complaining about. I would definitely recommend this seller.

I was a bit disappointed. I guess my fault for not reading it properly. It ONLY takes 8mm wires. So if you want to make larger notebooks or sketchbooks, this is not the product for you. It says on the box up to 45 sheets. There is no way you can use 45 sheets. I guess if you don't want covers then yeah, maybe. But I don't think you get the ease of turning the pages. I'd say 30 sheets max of 80gsm, with front and back cover. I used 120gsm sketchbook paper and fit 20 sheets with front and back cover, which is fine for travel sketchbooks. I tried with 200gsm, but it wasn't happy.It's also VERY VERY fiddly, if you don't make sure the paper is as far back as it can go you don't get punched holes. If you don't empty it, the paper bits prevent you from punching.the instructions are awful, photocopied over and over I think, so the photos are almost black.I haven't tried the continuous spiral yet. I guess that would take a lot more paper. So I will be trying that in the next few days.I've had to put it away back in its box for now, as my desire to make it sit on the naughty step and let it think about what it had done, was far too overwhelming.

I've had a similar machine from the same supplier for 5 year or so, which has become difficult to use, this new machine seems sturdier and easier to use, the punching mechanism seems very different which makes it easier to use, so far it is brilliant

I was looking for a cheap ish binding machine. This was in the range I wanted.Simple to use, but practice needed to actually bind a book together.The size of the binding wires is limited. I think it’s a max of 9mm. But you can use coils and do it manually.Update - been using for a few months. Excellent machine.

Works well, just as good as the more expensive binders on here

Although the item looked like it would do the job, beware because it says 60 pages on Amazon, but only 45 on the box, so am returning mine, 45 is not enough.

The media could not be loaded.  This machine has taken my workbooks up a level - love how professional they look and it's so easy to use. I cut down the wire combs to a5 size and they were easy to do.
