Hi is there a way to turn on the function lock? (Fn lock)

Hello, Function lock will depend on the software you are using.

Will this also work with my chrome book os laptop?

Chromebooks are an Android/linux based operating system. It will work fine.

Do they make a skin cover for this keyboard?

I am not sure about the skin cover, but I solved it, and I am very happy with my solution. I spread Clear Glaze KRYLON on it and let it dry for several hours. The keyboard is a little shiny now but I am happy that it worked.
