GDLF Dog Window Perch, Dog Bunk Bed with Stairs & Storage Platform

This elevated dog bed is perfect for pets who want to be elevated. We bought this in 2022 for our cocker spaniel who’s 35 lbs. so she could look out of the windows in my office and enjoy the sunshine. After one year, the bed remains sturdy, solid & heavy, which is the most important feature – it doesn’t shake or wobble at all. The steps aren’t too tall or steep, so her short legs can easily go up & down the stairs. The nonslip pads on the steps help & don’t slip when our dog takes the steps. That said, the pads but aren’t adhered by any adhesive, so the pads could be removed & replaced with something else, or you could adhere the pads to the steps yourself if you prefer. The elevated bed was simple to assemble, came with instructions, and the measurements shown in the product photos are accurate. One person could easily assemble in less than 30 minutes. We like the storage area under the bed, which we use to keep a tub full of dog clothes. As for the top sitting level, the bed comes with a cheap & thin brown cushion (we keep the brown cushion under the tub of clothes). Instead of using that cushion, we use a Snoozer dog bed that we already had, which fit perfectly on the top level and is more comfortable (& attractive) for our dog. We also put a king-size pillow on the window sill so she can get more sun, but without the pillow, the top level is still large enough so that she can sit & nap comfortably. The storage baskets under the steps are a nice feature, too.

LOVE IT! We recently bought this window perch for our 15lb bichon who loves to people watch. Definitely skeptical at first but after putting it together our dog loves it! Assembly was easy and took about 20 minutes with two people. Material is strong and sturdy. The only downside is that the top step is a bit steep from the bed. It would be more functional with 4 steps. Other than that we are extremely happy with this purchase!

My dog and I lived in a ground floor apartment with a balcony which she loved. We recently moved into an apartment without a balcony which I miss a little but she misses a lot. I wanted her to be able to at least look out the window from our 3rd floor apartment but she is not tall enough to see from the floor. This thing is a Godsend! She loves the bed at the bottom (not included) and really enjoys being able to look out and see people and squirrels outside. She sits, she stands, and sometimes stretches out and naps on it. She's not too tall and weighs 30 lbs. She really loves it when it is warm enough to have the window open so she can bark through the screen. Took her a few days to get used to taking the stairs up. Quite sturdy and very simple to put together, but I'm quite handy for a girl. There were times when a second person would've made it easier but I managed. Wish it had been on sale when I bought it...I think I paid $150, but it's worth every penny. I love everything about it except that it says it's black but is in fact brown and the room it's in is black, white, and zebra stripe. Your furry baby will love it...canine or feline!

I bought this with the intent of giving my dog a place to curl up beside me when I'm working at my desk. What's good: Assembly was fairly easy, the kit including all necessary tools and hardware, with a few extra bolts and screws provided (in case you lose one). The assembled perch is very sturdy. It also includes carpet treads for the steps. What's not so good (but not necessarily bad): 1. The assembled perch stands taller than I really wanted (I wanted something that would sit at about chair height, while this sits basically at the same height as my desk), but that was known based upon the dimensions provided in the listing. 2. It would also have been nice to have the option to mount the stairs on the sides instead of just the ends; but again, nothing in the listing indicated that this would be an option. 3. The stair treads don't sit particularly securely on the steps and are prone to slip. They do provide some additional velcro pads to help secure the treads. 4. The pad just sits on the top and isn't really secured in any way. It has some tiny rubber dots on the underside, but those don't really seem to prevent slippage. The pad also doesn't fit precisely in the space allowed for it -- it's slightly too large in width and length. Making the pad about 1/4" smaller in length and width and adding some velcro ties at the corners that could be secured to the frame of the perch would be a significant improvement. I'm probably going to just buy a new pad similar to what you would put in a small dog crate, and just replace the pad that came with the perch.

Perfect for my fourteen year old cat who unfortunately due to her age, is no longer able to jump up onto her old cat tower. Assembly took about an hour, solo. Some of the instructions weren't entirely clear and I only found out when I had to move to the next step, only to discover pieces didn't quite fit but they were minor adjustments. (And by some happy accident, I ended up reversing the largest, right 'shelves' so that the metal shelf was on top, rather than on bottom and the wooden shelf was on bottom, rather than on top but it worked out, as I felt it added some ventilation to my cats self warming, thermal heating pad.) Love the totes too! They're fabric but with a sturdy, heavyset inlay for the bottom to ensure durability and all three provide plenty of room to store all my cats food, treats, toys and grooming products! Overall, 5 stars! Honestly, if I could I'd give it more stars I would just because being able to see my girl navigate the stairs, to curl up comfy cozy and sunbathe in the window again is priceless!

Very happy with this purchase. I usually don’t need to read directions when assembling things. I would highly recommend following directions with this one and taking your time which will end it good results. Product is well designed description and pictures are accurate for what’s in the box. Good quality product.

It takes a bit of time to put together, but at least it is easy to do so. I didn't have any issues with holes not lining up correctly or anything like that. My dogs use this for several hours every day since getting it. I put a blanket and pillow on top, just to add some comfort considering the metal rails. The rails are a good thing, since one of my dogs often sleeps up there. Don't have to worry about anyone falling off. My lil guys have gotten the hang of using the stairs too. At first they were trying to just jump off the top. I had an ottoman for them to sit on at the window before this, but they couldn't lay down on it and look out at the same time, since it was too short. This has been a fantastic solution. It also has storage in the stairs for dog toys!

Honestly, I was on the fence about buying this. It’s a little pricey. I am so glad I did my dogs. Absolutely love this hands-down. It was super easy to put together. Everything was labeled very well and the instructions were very easy to go by. Super sturdy! I have two minutes of schnauzers the gray one is 22 pounds and the white one is 18 pounds. So this gives you an idea of how big my dogs are when they’re sitting on it. Both of them can fit on the top to look out the window but when laying down and relaxing it’s more for one. With the pad it’s about 28 inches in height. It’s perfect for my window. My husband bitched and moaned when I bought it because he didn’t think we needed another dog bed…… But truth be told he absolutely loves it now he thinks it’s funny how the dogs jump up there and look out the window and wait for everybody to come home. Plus, they’re not sitting on the furniture, ruining the back of the couch. Win win
