text has lots of references to literature that are in text so you don't have to flip to the back for citations. There are also very nice colored schemes and pictures throughout the book. At times the text is a bit too simplistic and uses too many words to explain simple concepts.

This is used as a reference textbook in graduate level courses, and it's great. A lot of content, very understandable. Some Phys Chem concepts are actually clearer in this textbook than in the Phys Chem ones.

This book is an excellent reference on the latest developments in the theory and practice of synthetic and physical organic chemistry. As someone who did their graduate work more than 40 years ago, I found it to be a very good source of material for refreshing my knowledge of the subject.

If you are buying this book it is most likely for a graduate level physical organic chemistry course. Which means reviews are probably fairly pointless, since you have to buy the book. You should at least know that the book is well written and actually a helpful resource. Personally I struggled with the class, but the book was helpful and fairly easy to use. Despite my best efforts, I cannot imagine a chair structure in my head. If this is a problem for you as well I would suggest another course if possible, and if not you will need a model kit.

Book is great. Simply the paragon for grad students. Use this for learning and as a good resource. I hope to be crazy enough to read it cover to cover.

Un testo veramente pesante. In senso letterale, pesa molto ed è pieno di dettagli, spiegazioni elucidazioni che per corsi di base sono decisamente troppi. Per chi, invece, volesse avere un testo capace di esprimere criticamente le teorie più accreditate su struttura e meccanismi delle reazioni chimiche in chimica organica, supportando tutto peraltro con calcoli di chimica computazionale, non potrei consigliare di meglio.
