NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Gotcha Covered Concealer - 06 Golden

I was excited to try this concealer. In general, my favorite drugstore / affordable brands for makeup are NYX and Maybelline. Between the two, I have found some pretty great stuff. I am about an NC30 in Mac foundations (I have yellow-toned olive skin that leans slightly warm). After doing some research it seemed that No.03 Beige would be my color. This product is a bit like coconut oil - quite thick when you squeeze it out, but then it melts onto the skin. I first color correct the dark inner corners of my under eye with NYX's dark circle corrector in Medium then apply some dabs of this concealer over it with my ring finger. You definitely need to set it with translucent powder if you want to avoid it filling in your wrinkles and creating lines on your undereye, so I use Rimmel for that. The results lasted all day and were excellent for daytime. If you want to go all out / cover your undereye circles 100% and get that super full coverage look, you probably won't get that here. But if you want to brighten and lighten, this is your product. And for so cheap too! I'm happy. It works for me. I guess I should mention that I have dry skin, so the fact that it's creamy and rich is such a selling point for me. Most undereye concealers are very very drying on me and just make my undereye area crepe-y and not feeling so good. This one works with my skin.

Good solid coverage, good for hard to cover blemishes

I mix Gotcha Covered concealer with a lanolin-based moisturizer so it keeps it's luster throughout the day, and cover it with a lightweight moisturizing base. It looks fresh all day with minimal touch ups.

Fabulous cover up, dewy and stays in place. Same quality as Bye Bye eye. Covers up dark circles excellent!
