Buena relación calidad precio. Yo quería exactamente lo que es, una prenda que sin comprimir, como haría una faja, diese calor de forma suave y que se pudiese llevar discretamente bajo las prendas de ropa. En mi caso, un acierto .

I’ve had a case of “cold tummy,” for lack of a medical term, where the skin on top of my tummy feels very cold. I did some research and found that the Japanese have a remedy for this, which is also good for kidney health – it’s a garment they call “haramaki” that’s practically identical to this one, which is made in Latvia. I suspect this garment is an ancient health remedy, since they have them in Japan and Europe. Germany also has something with a similar function, although it’s a wrap-around, not a tube. The Japanese abandoned it as a traditional garment decades ago, but the haramaki is enjoying a revival as a fashion statement these days, and is knitted in all colors and designs, to be worn as an accessory. I wanted something more practical, with high-quality material. This item is described on the package as: “Medical elastic belt (back warmer) with Angora and Merino wool for treatment and prophylaxis of radiculitis and neuritis. Eases back muscle pain and relieves tension, accelerates recovery process. Due to gentle support and improvement of blood microcirculation belt also has positive effect on internal organs. It is also recommended for people who are working in cold weather and draught or have extra pressure on the lumbro-sacral spine.” This is a “tube” type garment that you pull over your head like a sweater and adjust around your middle. It’s relatively thick and firm, but soft and stretchy. It doesn’t squeeze your middle, but keeps your middle covered and warm, without riding up or folding over. It’s best worn as a type of underwear, but not over clothing (the Japanese haramaki is often worn over clothing). Pay attention to the size chart and get exactly the size that’s within range of your waist, no bigger, no smaller. Mine turned out to be the perfect size for me. The “Tonus Elast” (Tonus 9509-AM) is made in Latvia. The constituents are: 52% cotton, 35% mixed wool, 7% latex, and 6% polyester. There’s a difference between the inside and the outside: the inside is made of cotton and the outside of wool. You can turn it inside out if you need greater warmth. It is 11.4 inches tall, which covers your middle pretty well. The expected “serviceable life” of the garment is 5 years. Wash by hand in warm water in a soap solution, but do not use bleach or any other chemicals, and do not twist or wring dry. Spread to dry. Do not iron. I received mine in a large bubble envelope. The back-warmer is protected in a clear plastic sleeve with instructions in numerous languages. The package has pictures of a rabbit and ball of yarn labeled “Angora” and a sheep labeled “Merino” on it to make it clear what the “mixed wool” is all about. It really does the job of keeping me warm around the waist when I’m working in a cold environment. It is soft and comfortable, but holds up well. Well-packaged, and arrived really fast. I ordered it on Saturday, and it arrived on Tuesday, shipped from Massachusetts. Definitely a good buy, and a good price.

This is a replacemewnt for my original review. The product is good value for money and, for me, does the job well. The suppliers have been courteous and helpful. The ONLY reason I give 4 stars, not 5, is that the product advertsing says "angora and merino" in large letters and it is necessary to get to the small print to find that these materials are present in small quantities only. The price should have told me that there could not be much of them present, As I said above, good value for price paid and very good service.

Great belt if you want to stay warm during cold weather. 5 stars. Small rant. American men's clothing manufacturers go out of their way to save a dollar here and there. Therefore, all jackets are short and above waist line. You are going to have real hard time finding a male jacket that doesn't expose lower back or behind when you bend over to do anything. In order to save $3 in material, the manufacturers go out of their way to shave inch or two from every coat and jacket. It is really bad for those who are not 20 and have lower back problems, kidney problems, just sensitive to cold , elderly men and many others. In order to stay warm in winter months, I personally buy L Tall size t-shirts when my normal size is M. That is the only way you can cover for extra short jackets. Rant over. If you want to stay warm, I strongly recommend this agora wool belt. Basically, you can save yourself from freezing in your extra short "winter" jacket that doesn't cover anything if you didn't bother going out of your way to buy some expensive long coat. This is perfect.
