This resin is very finicky!! Edit: I fixed the issue I was having, it was my fault!!
I can mix up a batch and pour it into a mold that has several pieces to it that are all the same thickness and some will cure within the 3 hours I have them on the heating mat and then there are other pieces that stay gooey. The pieces I am trying to cast are not thick, maybe about 1/2cm so this shouldn't be happening and I am always super careful to make sure my mixture is exactly 1:1. I've tried curing without using the heating mat and I get the same results. I would understand if it was poured from a separate batch but it's not. I'm not sure if this resin is just that sensitive or if I'm doing something wrong with it. I make sure not to add to much colorant to the mix also because I know that can cause it not to cure properly. I've had to scrap so many items because even after sitting for almost a week now some of them are set on top but gooey inside the mold and I don't think it's ever going to set. I've wasted so much resin in this past week when I decided to try this brand, I don't think I'll ever buy it again because I feel like I have had to throw more away than I have actually gotten good results from. When I do get it to set, it sets beautifully, but the issue is actually getting it to set and then not knowing if I'm going to end up having a good outcome or having to re-pour it. It's costing me both time and money because I have customers waiting on items and when I have waited days for it to cure and it doesn't, then that sets me back even more because I have to recast it again. I'm at a loss as to where to go from here with resin. I still have almost a gallon of it but I don't want to keep wasting my time not getting a good outcome.Edit: i changed my review to 5 stars because I read some other reviews and googled some about this particular resin and realized I was the one making the mistake, I tried again and this time instead of mixing my hand for like 2 mins, I used my drill with the mixing paddle and I mixed for about 10 mins and this morning woke up to some absolutely perfect castings, that are all nice and solid and very very few tiny bubbles. I spritz my pieces with 91% isopropyl alcohol(rubbing alcohol) and it makes bubbles almost immediately pop, it doesn't completely get them all out on some bigger items, but my smaller ones hardly ever have any bubbles and if they do it's usually my fault for not making sure that all the tiny small corners or points are fully filled.

Great smelling and excellent casting and table top epoxy
Best smelling epoxy ever. Smells like raspberry. No noxious odor at all. Cures like crystal glass. Super easy to work with and at 80 degree room temp and 30% humidity it starts to set around 30 minutes. At 70 degree room temp it starts to set around an hour at 50% humidity. It is very fluid(not thick, but not as thin as water) and will leak out even a tiny pinhole in your mold. But this stuff cast even a fingerprint I accidentally left on my original casting model. Some of my finished casts have been left outdoors and 6 months later are not yellowed. Once fully cured this stuff can be brittle. I made surfboard fins with it and a pure epoxy fin breaks like glass if ya strike the bottom at the beach break. But this is by far the best brand epoxy I have used. I have tried(and still have) some of the other brands on Amazon and the only one that is just as good is eco-poxy. I love beast bond though.

New to this
Epoxy was pretty easy to work with, itโs not perfect on my end due to being a beginner with this kind of product. After 16 hours the counter was dry to the touch, you could knock on it and it was already hard. Did exactly what I wanted it to do! About 1/4 inch in thickness all throughout. It did relatively well with self leveling especially after using the blow dryer to create the marbled look. I used acrylic paint that I already had to mix in and make the colors as well as some eyeshadow as most eyeshadow is mica powder based. Did some research on that first! Thereโs a perfect sparkle to the marble to make it appear authentic. It was super easy to mix and measure. I underestimated how quickly it would start to harden in a smaller container so I did waste a decent amount of product due to that. I have some patch work to do but will be ordering again for sure for other projects. I also thought I ordered 1 gallon of each product but when it came I received 1/2 a gallon of each product. Havenโt double checked the order yet, so be mindful when making your purchase that you are selecting the quantity you need! Also clear looking, didnโt really have issues with bubbling. There were a few spots, I used a heat gun to get that out and it worked like a charm. I think my problem was not moving quick enough as the product starts to cure after 30-40 minutes of being mixed. I was being a bit overly cautious. But I believe it will patch up beautifully and sand down evenly.

Easy to work with, no rushing
I had plenty of time to work with multiple colors or pours. The product may be thinner than other countertop products so if you are working on a countertop let your design set before pulling off the tape. The product is less expensive than others, and it's worked very well for us.

Pretty good resin
Works very well, minimum bubbles so far.

Great Product
I have tried 3-4 different epoxy resins meant for "crafting", this is the first one that doesn't flash cure, it allows you time to get the powders or inks mixed up without it curing or starting to harden as fast as the others I've tried. I've also NEVER had my bottles show up with a "yellow" tint. I will stick with this resin. Tyvm for the great product

Definitely Not The Best Experience... Possibly Bad Batch?
Epoxy countertops/tables are nothing new to me. I have been doing it for a few years now, and used many different brands. My overall experience was awful with this particular brand. I am hoping it was just a bad batch. This kit ruined a nice table top. I prepped the top with 220 sandpaper like usual and wiped down with 91% isopropyl alcohol, letting it dry over night. Wiped down one last time with a dry cloth. The epoxy poured thick and layed down smooth and I got as much of the air bubbles out as possible. (I used a paddle attachment for my drill in a cheap $1.25 bucket for easy clean up and mixing.) Woke up the next morning and the epoxy cured in a peculiar way. It cured all spotty throughout the table top. The epoxy like shrunk up and left spots throughout the top and you can feel the dips in the surface. If I had epoxy left over it wouldn't be a big deal, I would just mix and fill in the gaps. But considering a 1gal kit was already overkill and I ended up needing all of it because the mixture was so thick, it's a little disappointing.Amazon atleast refunded me my money so I can at least attempt to finish my table top. On this experience alone I would not recommend this epoxy kit. I could have gotten a bad batch but who knows.
