Great smelling and excellent casting and table top epoxy
Best smelling epoxy ever. Smells like raspberry. No noxious odor at all. Cures like crystal glass. Super easy to work with and at 80 degree room temp and 30% humidity it starts to set around 30 minutes. At 70 degree room temp it starts to set around an hour at 50% humidity. It is very fluid(not thick, but not as thin as water) and will leak out even a tiny pinhole in your mold. But this stuff cast even a fingerprint I accidentally left on my original casting model. Some of my finished casts have been left outdoors and 6 months later are not yellowed. Once fully cured this stuff can be brittle. I made surfboard fins with it and a pure epoxy fin breaks like glass if ya strike the bottom at the beach break. But this is by far the best brand epoxy I have used. I have tried(and still have) some of the other brands on Amazon and the only one that is just as good is eco-poxy. I love beast bond though.

Excellent product, excellent price!
I must admit, I was pretty sus when I ordered this. I'm a wood turner and everybody always tells me, "ALUMILITE CLEAR SLOW" is the ONLY epoxy for turners. Well, I'll never buy ALUMILITE again. At 25% of the cost vs. Alumilute, that might be enough to change brands. But there is no "might be" here, this stuff is incredible. First off, it's easy. 1:1 mix and you're set. Cups included just in case you ran out. It mixes like a champ. Smooth, not too thick and air bubbles float their way out in a minute or two. The long working time is great, especially if you're using more than 1 color. Plenty of time to get everything prepped and make your pour without everything turning into a weird blob. Give it 2 or 3 days to cure. Patience. Don't whine, go do some other junk and come back later. It sets hard, like brick wall hard. I was little worried it was going to be brittle but when I started turning it, I was blown away. I used a bottle stopper mold and poured a 2 x 2 x 2 block. I used a carbide square roughing tool to start and finished with a round carbide. I did not cut the corners before turning. I chucked it, spun it at 2k, and dug in. This stuff turns like butter! It is incredible, not brittle at all, ZERO bubbles, great coloring throughout (used mica powder) and an absolute pleasure to work with. I will never buy another brand again! Can't wait to make more stuff with this!

This resin is very finicky!! Edit: I fixed the issue I was having, it was my fault!!
I can mix up a batch and pour it into a mold that has several pieces to it that are all the same thickness and some will cure within the 3 hours I have them on the heating mat and then there are other pieces that stay gooey. The pieces I am trying to cast are not thick, maybe about 1/2cm so this shouldn't be happening and I am always super careful to make sure my mixture is exactly 1:1. I've tried curing without using the heating mat and I get the same results. I would understand if it was poured from a separate batch but it's not. I'm not sure if this resin is just that sensitive or if I'm doing something wrong with it. I make sure not to add to much colorant to the mix also because I know that can cause it not to cure properly. I've had to scrap so many items because even after sitting for almost a week now some of them are set on top but gooey inside the mold and I don't think it's ever going to set. I've wasted so much resin in this past week when I decided to try this brand, I don't think I'll ever buy it again because I feel like I have had to throw more away than I have actually gotten good results from. When I do get it to set, it sets beautifully, but the issue is actually getting it to set and then not knowing if I'm going to end up having a good outcome or having to re-pour it. It's costing me both time and money because I have customers waiting on items and when I have waited days for it to cure and it doesn't, then that sets me back even more because I have to recast it again. I'm at a loss as to where to go from here with resin. I still have almost a gallon of it but I don't want to keep wasting my time not getting a good outcome. Edit: i changed my review to 5 stars because I read some other reviews and googled some about this particular resin and realized I was the one making the mistake, I tried again and this time instead of mixing my hand for like 2 mins, I used my drill with the mixing paddle and I mixed for about 10 mins and this morning woke up to some absolutely perfect castings, that are all nice and solid and very very few tiny bubbles. I spritz my pieces with 91% isopropyl alcohol(rubbing alcohol) and it makes bubbles almost immediately pop, it doesn't completely get them all out on some bigger items, but my smaller ones hardly ever have any bubbles and if they do it's usually my fault for not making sure that all the tiny small corners or points are fully filled.

Best resin ever!
This is the only resin I will use for my projects. It doesn’t smell, it stays clear, easy to pour. Super shiny when demolded. It’s a deep pour resin, so it works great for table tops. Very stable

Know Your Resins
There are three basic types of resins for those who enjoy casting molds, jewelry making, etc. It's important to understand the differences and determine what type of projects you'll be doing. Most of my projects are deep-pour designs. This is NOT a good deep-pour resin. Not sure how I misread this, but somehow, I thought this would work as a substitute for the more expensive deep-pour resin I've been using. That's on me. I do like the viscosity of this resin. It's thicker than most and has a good working time. If you're casting thinner projects such as cutting boards, serving trays, key chains, or bookmarks it works quite well. I do have a terrible time with this product producing too many bubbles. I have to mix small batches, no more than 40 or 50 ml and use multiple pourings to achieve a good look without bubbles. So basically, this is not my favorite resin because it just doesn't work well with most of my projects. But it's good stuff for small, thinner projects.
