This review will try to clear some of this up.1. Adhesion: it sticks fine if the surface is thoroughly degreased. My traeger 34 was only once used and I had to clean it multiple times to get it ready. I used distilled vinegar and dawn soap on a paper towel over and over until a paper tower came back clean. Then I used rubbing alcohol to be certain it was ready.2. Backing not separating from gasket: it just takes patience and maybe some reading glasses. Try bending the corner of the gasket.3. Quantity: There’s much more than enough to do a Traeger 34. At least 4 feet left over.4. Placement: I put mine on the underside of the lid. Had to cut out for the lid guide just a little bit. Makes for a clean install. Easy to use. Just measure, cut, peel the backing tape and apply. And, it keeps the pellet smoke inside. Does it keep all the smoke inside?
