I love this. It has a normal cell battery that is coincidently the same cell battery that my car FOB uses. I can buy that size Cell Battery at any Walmart or Target or Auto Store. Those smaller cell batteries are hard to find, and require buying more than I will need at one time. So, I am tickled pink that this uses a common and easy to find size. It works well. Well made. Excellent price. I am very happy, and BTW, I bought another one so that I gave to a family member where I cook sometimes. I’m very happy with it.

Bought this to use for sourdough but have used it for a few other things as well. It's fast and works well, the numbers are bigger and easy to read and the probe being longer makes it easier to use and to clean without getting the screen part wet. Super great value for the lower price. I also really like that the back is magnetized. I just stick it on my stove hood when I'm done.

I bought this thermometer to prevent getting burned while checking temperatures while grilling. It works great. Adequate distance is maintained to prevent getting burned. It's easy to use and the magnetic back allows easy storage.
