Good quality 0.4mm radius inserts with effective chip breaker when used on EN8 and 303 bar
For the price, these perform really well and with the use of coolant seem to be lasting just as long as long as some of our major brand inserts that we use for finishing. For a semi-finishing insert the chipbreaker works well, on EN8 and 303 bar light cuts still see the chipbreaker doing its thing effectively, 303 always seems to chip well so wasn't too surprised that it still did with these inserts. Messing around with cut depth a little these saw these CDBP inserts still coping well, with their 0.4mm radius they are more suited to finishing than roughing though. Because we are occasional machinists making small batches and one off parts for project builds. it's hard to honestly say how long this pack of ten inserts will last us. So far we have been impressed with the performance of these CDBP inserts and cannot fault them in any way, they are good value and provide a very good finish. Five out of five stars for quality, quantity, and price.

Great value for a set of 10.
The CDBP WNMG080408 Carbide Inserts arrived packed within a hard plastic organiser/storage box. The inserts are well finished with a well defined chipbreaker and have a tip radius of approximately 0.8mm and are suitable for turning steel and cast iron. Great value for a set of 10.
