Yamaha 76-Key Touch-Sensitive Advanced Portable Keyboard, with Semi Pro-Quality Sound, Music Rest, and Power Adapter PSREW425

I've had the PSR-EW425 for about three months now, and it's been a great keyboard. It was a lot more features than I need. The sound is really good for a sub-$500 keyboard. I have purchased two other entry-level keyboards and the the PSR-EW425 is my favorite.

The Yamaha PSR-EW425 is the best $500 keyboard. It has everything you need to play music, including a microphone. Also, the 76 keys is a feature that other $500 keyboards do not have. The quality of the sounds is amazing. Nobody makes a better 76 key keyboard at this price and with these features. It does not have any faults. I like everything about this keyboard.

This keyboard is amazing the voices are so lifelike and the sound quality is incredible a little hard to figure out at first but after a few YouTube videos it is easier wish it had weighted keys but otherwise I’m very happy with my purchase highly recommend this keyboard

I have been a Yamaha instrument consumer for 50 + years and have always gotten really great products. Even when buying beginner instruments for first time players the build quality has been great. However, it seems Yamaha dropped the ball this time. The psr ew 425 is an entry level arranger board with what seems to be toy keys. Less than 2 weeks of use one of the keys became loose to the point I believe it would have broken completely off. Unacceptable for a $500 purchase. Other than that, the board was great and what was expected. I returned this keyboard because of poor key construction.

Great instrument!! As a lifetime pianist, I recently purchased this keyboard to join a geezer band. This keyboard does everything I could want and more. Lots of voices to choose from. Capability of splitting the keyboard into two sections with different voicing in each, plus a DUAL function for the upper half to add a second voice, making it easy to change for 'solo' sections during performance. The 32 memory settings allow me to set up complex voicing/volume for each song and bring them up quickly during performance. The only thing I haven't liked so far is that the drum patterns aren't really suitable for the rock songs I play. But overall, it provides a lot of capability for the price. Good value.

The speakers sound very good. I do recommend for beginners or non beginners. I started playing about a month ago. Easy to learn on.

I use this keyboard for creating and recording original music. In my experience, it's the best keyboard in its price range for that. Of course there are better ones for music creation, but they cost way more money. The Casio WK7600 is also a fantastic music creation keyboard in this price range, but I like the feel of the ew425's keys better, and the ew425 has a built in audio interface, which is very handy for what I do, and the Casio doesn't have that. I expect to be using this keyboard for years, unless I get a bunch of money somehow and can afford something way more expensive. But keep in mind that the ew425 is not for learning how to play the piano. It's not a digital piano. So, if that's what you want, then don't get this keyboard.

Este teclado es bastante funcional, además de práctico. Es un teclado con buenas funciones y buenos sonidos, en general tiene buen precio para la utilidad y el rendimiento que se puede obtener del instrumento. Me gusta que su peso en kilogramos lo hace práctico y portátil. También tengo el piano digital Yamaha DGX-650, y aunque éste es un piano más completo, el Teclado EW-425 se le acerca en calidad de sonidos y funciones, pero con la ventaja de que es más práctico para transportarse. La entrada para micrófono del Ew-425 proporciona una herramienta muy útil para cantar e interpretar piezas en el teclado aprovechando la misma salida de audio. Aunque no es un teclado de gama alta, es un buen apoyo para realizar una buena interpretación.

Many features /functions. unctions not intuitive and need to refer to manuals that are downloaded that are extremely hard to follow as instructions in multiple languages are packed into each page with very small print. .Few classical pieces with limited song list of 30 that come with keyboard and no no label on keyboard referencing numbers of songs.
