Hi, No carrying case is supplied. But the tool and fittings fit nicely in the shipping box.

Can it crimp regular non pass thu rj45 connectors?

I’m not sure. It should crimp them if they fit through the opening. I’ve never tried with those.

What does it mean when the power button is flashing on the cable tester?

It's been a while since I used mine, but as I recall it means your wires are not in the correct order ..the instructions that come with the crimping kit should state this.
